My husband and I stayed 8 nights in the Senior suite. We were greeted with the utmost kindness and professionalism. The Bar/Restaurant manager and his staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond our expectations. Food was excellent and always fresh, the drinks at the bar were delicious. The location was absolutely beautiful. I would give the staff 10 stars if it were possible. I recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone wanting to visit the Seychelles.

Neues Hotel mit modernen Zimmern. Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Lage des Zimmers für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Der Poolbereich ist ruhig und der Weg zum Strand sehr kurz. Für Ausflüge auf die Insel sehr gut gelegen. Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Preis- Leistung hat auf jeden Fall gestimmt. Für europäische Verhältnisse ein 4 Sterne Hotel.

The Laïla is a calm oasis, beautifully designed in a way that is respectful of local traditional Seychellois architecture, and including crafted details drawing on local artisans.This is no generic tropical resort: The intimate scale and sense of design care works well. The reception staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are elegantly arranged with generous balconies including day beds, and lovely internal screens separating bathroom from bedroom. There is a spice garden on the top floor, making reference to the importance of the kreol garden. The swimming pool is great for relaxing as well as doing morning laps. Kreol Cafe across the street, which is part of the resort, serves excellent food, and looks onto the beach, with great outdoor furniture one can relax on. I very much enjoyed my stay!

My wife went to the Spa the other day and it felt amazing to see her skin glow, her face refreshed and her heart full of joy! Shruti, the massage therapist did outstandingly well, her service is top-notch! Laïla needs more staff who reflect her character and heart.

The Seychelles is a beautiful place. This hotel gives no idea of what the country is like. All the rooms face in towards the inner pool which is dark and no views. Biggest problem with this hotel is the level of music blasting from the pool area. As above all rooms overlook it. There is no getting away from the music all day it is blasted out. 7am woken by the thump thump thump as the music starts again. It’s raining outside no one is anywhere near the pool but the music is blasted with no escape. Don’t come here if you want to enjoy the peaceful Seychelles countryside. This is after a room move from room 1 where there is a speaker directly in front of the terrace. But it’s no quieter elsewhere.
