Un enorme complejo de 234 hectáreas, con pisos de uno a tres dormitorios y chalés de 120 a 200 m².
Este inmenso complejo de 234 ha, creado ex nihilo en 2004 alrededor del golf del mismo nombre, no tuvo que buscarse muy lejos para encontrar su identidad: el mito de Afrodidite y la Antigüedad. Para el estilo, los arquitectos se han regalado dando en el grandioso y kitsch, con mármol, molduras y lleno de estatuas falsas grecorromanas. La versión bling-bling de los enanos de cierto modo. Como qué, los ricos también pueden tener mal gusto… bueno, se deja de hacer nuestros celosos. Se encuentra en este lujoso lugar, situado a 15 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Paphos (y está aún más cerca en helicóptero).
Arrendamientos. Primero, apartamentos de una a tres habitaciones, con cocina y salón equipados (TV, aire acondicionado…). En segundo lugar, hay villas de 120 a 200 m 2 con o sin piscina. Apartamentos y villas se reparten entre cinco "aldeas" con nombres evocadores (Thazoée, Adonis…), cada uno con su propia piscina "municipal". Y, el must, villas aún más exclusivas de 250 m 2, repartidas en todo el complejo alrededor del campo de golf, con cada piscina. El alquiler se realiza por dos noches mínimas. Una villa para 4 personas con piscina se negocia a 440 euros por noche en agosto. Dos noches mínimas.
Propiedades a vender. La dirección del complejo propone a la venta algunos de sus apartamentos y villas que están en alquiler. Hotel Intercontinental. Es el único establecimiento de la cadena hotelera británica en el país. Dispone de 290 habitaciones de lujo, 6 de ellas suites con piscina privada, 13 con Jacuzzi y una con piscina y jacuzzi. El conjunto es magnífico. La piedra bruta y el agua son los dos elementos principales con numerosas fuentes. Las habitaciones están muy bien decoradas. En el establecimiento hay varios bares y restaurantes, dos piscinas, un gimnasio etc. Los clientes del hotel tienen acceso a todos los servicios (de pago) del complejo, incluido el campo de golf, situado justo al lado. Habitación doble a partir de 250 euros en agosto.
Actividades deportivas. Además del golf, el Aphrodite Hills Resort dispone de un recorrido de montaña, un minigolf, cuatro pistas de tenis con club house, un centro de equitación, un centro de fitness. También se organizan actividades en el exterior: deportes náuticos, submarinismo, escalada, etc.
Restaurantes y servicios. Cerca de las "aldeas", un lugar central reúne restaurantes, un pub, un glaciar, tiendas, un centro de información (con alquiler de coches), una sala de juegos de arcadas, un club de actividades para niños con niñera disponible las 24 horas y un spa con masajes.

Our worse experience this trip however was on the last day. I called the reception the night before our check out time to ask if we can check out slightly later as our flight was not until the evening. By the way, the check in time is 2 PM which is standard nowadays but the check out time is 10 AM!. I requested if we can check out at 11 AM or 12 Midday which should still allow them to have plenty of time to clean the apartment for the next guest. The receptionist told me that it was not possible to extend our stay as there was a back-to-back booking for our apartment and he said that “even if I wanted to help you, I cannot.” He said there are other vacant units if we want to move and use it for a day for a fee of €300. So I said no to that and that we will leave on time. The next morning we all woke up early at 7:30 AM to have breakfast and packed. However at 9:52 AM there was a knock from the cleaner. She said she was told to start cleaning. That was 8 minutes before our supposed check out time!. We were so upset. We moved our luggages out and went to the reception to complained. When we arrived at the reception, it was shut! There was an electrical problem so the front door to the reception could not be opened and I had to wait in the hot sun for them to open. I cannot understand, there are so many units in the resort why was our unit the first one to be cleaned especially as we had requested to extend if possible? The evil night receptionist (on 8th September 2023) must have left a message to the cleaners to make sure that we leave on time. I had travelled widely and stayed in many resorts and this is the first time we had to be shooed out before our check out time!
I hope the management read this frank review and explain to me why we had to be shooed out before our check out time. Aphrodite Hill is not what it used to be. It is has gone down-hill. Stay away from this resort as there are so many others in Paphos that are now much better.
