Magical. I think Fragsburg is the best hotel at which I have ever stayed. Idyllic setting nestled in between apple orchards and vineyards in the hills above Merano. The property itself is impeccably designed - you feel like you're staying at someone's (very nice, very large) home. Food was great - both the tasting menu and a la carte - and the included breakfast spread was delicious.

The staff are so professional and friendly, and the limited number of guest rooms ensures personal attention and at times you feel like you're the only one staying at the property (in a good way).

Our stay at Castel Fragsburg was simply idyllic. This place is truly enchanting. We can't praise the merits of this extraordinary hotel enough.

It all began when my partner proposed to me at the fairy tale garden of the hotel's castle. It was a magical experience, with enchanting decor, a romantic atmosphere, and a sumptuous picnic. My future husband clearly scored major points with our friends and family through this unforgettable proposal :) We recommend this place to all lovers looking to create magical memories.

Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, prepared with exceptional passion and creativity. The flavors were absolutely amazing, and the service was impeccable.

The hotel’s pool is a haven of peace and relaxation. Surrounded by the mountains, it offers breathtaking panoramic views.

Overall, our stay at Castel Fragsburg was absolutely perfect. The place, the service, the food, everything exceeded our expectations.

Top in allen Kategorien. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und exclusiv mit viel liebevollen Details.Kulinarisch oberstes dezil. Nur der Pool ist um ein paar Grad zu kühl und dass man 20,- extra für das Zimmerservice und 10,- für den Poolservice jedesmal berechnet bekommt, finde ich etwas dreist.

The perfect hotel for Gourmet, romantic and wellness lovers. Every details are thought through.

Castel Fragsburg provides an unbelievable experience that seems to transport you to another time while providing a luxurious experience and unparalleled service. The rooms are filled with charm and all the amenities you could want (including a soaking tub in the bathroom with a view of the mountains!). The entire property is well maintained, with a focus on relaxation and connecting to nature.

The staff may be the highlight of the entire stay. Any question or request was received with a smile and prompt response. The lengths to which the staff went to to ensure our stay was perfect was incredible - including Ruth’s help to book a last minute manicure for my wife the day before our wedding (Among many other things)!

The on-site restaurant was amazing! Fine dining with food that was both delicious and a culinary experience. Corrado’s service really made our wedding night dinner with service that was professional yet warm and friendly.

I would give Castel Fragsburg 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal an diesem schönen Ort und es gibt nichts, was ich bemängeln könnte. Alles ist so liebevoll und stimmig, dass man gar nicht merkt, wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. Das Essen ist unfassbar gut und der Service noch besser. Alle Beteiligten sind so sympathisch und authentisch; für uns war es insbesondere Lauren aus Salzburg, der wir unseren besonderen Dank aussprechen möchten. Du hast alle drei Abende und auch beim Frühstück einfach soviel Freundlichkeit und Liebe zum Detail ausgestrahlt, dass auch wir das Restaurant jedes Mal mit einem Lächeln verlassen haben. Danke dafür!
