Very comfortable hotel with great helpful staff. I booked room on day with loud party outside. They change may room to larger, different one without surcharge. Many thanks
There was no water in Taps and toilet this morning. I complained when checking out only for the lady at reception to suggest that if I want compensation I should contact Water Utilities! This was really unacceptable because they have backup for electricity. Why not backup water too
My stay at Cresta Thapama Hotel was enhanced by the enjoyable evening spent at their bar with lively music. The ambiance created a pleasant atmosphere. While my experience was positive, there were a few aspects that could have been improved. Overall, I rate my stay 4 stars, with the vibrant bar being a highlight of my time there.
Great place to hang out with friends over a sundowner after a hectic day at work. The Thursday and Sartaday happy hour are a definate yes. The rooms are great and the service is applause worthy. Located in the heart of Francistown, the hotel is near malls and food outlets.
Beim Frühstück waren nicht genug Kaffeetassen und Gläser vorhanden. Man mußte aus mehrmals nachfragen. Dann Abends in der Bar kein Bier mehr da. Nicht organisiert, die Bedienungen teilweise unfreundlich. Ich empfehle mal für alle Angestellten eine Schulung. Vielleicht hilft das. Heike Boullay
Small things like towels tea leaves milk and sweeteners were not available in rooms, on towels there was 0ne of each type all the time. We ordered room service dinner it came after 2 hours after we had complained and the quality of mutton was terrible and badly cooked and my wife's fish had uncooked white stuff which looked like flour. . I have used Cresta hotels in the region including Tapama and have always enjoyed my stay but not this one. I have let bygones be bygones.I have given my experience so that no other guest goes through what we experienced. I appreciate that you might have lost some skils during Covid that's why I never made it a big issue other than voicing my displeasure for example at reception we had a small misunderstanding over booking rates only to discover that the rate had not changed and what caused differences was the online and inhouse rate and we all laughed it off as it was much ado about nothing.
Very central hotel, however it is looking a bit run down now and could do with some refurbishment. Half the swimming pool is closed and the grounds are looking a bit shabby. Rooms are dated and the carpets are old. Disappointing for the price we paid to stay there.
We checked in at 3pm and reported that the bathroom didn't have any towels. Then we reported it again at 6pm and then at 7pm and still no bathroom towels arrived. Quite disappointing after a long drive. They finally turn up at 7:30pm.
