I hate leaving negative reviews, but I have to for this hotel. My fiancée and I stay at Hilton hotels all the time when we travel and it’s never been terrible, except this time. We stayed at the hotel twice, since it was the hotel that was on the way to TX and on the way back to GA on our road trip.

The room: bed looked clean, no stains. However, the bathroom was terrible. The water was brown and felt slimy - toilet water, sink water, and shower. The toilet wasn’t cleaned properly, as I had seen there were brown stains when we lifted up the toilet seat. The tub wouldn’t drain properly and there were obvious brown stains in the tub. The room didn’t have an odor, thankfully, but it didn’t feel as clean as all Hilton hotels usually are.

The service: we didn’t have any interaction with the front desk since we had a digital key upon check-in. For breakfast there was a gentleman that was very attentive. The breakfast was ok - not the greatest.

The great service we received when we went down for breakfast is the saving grace for this review. I don’t recommend anyone staying here till they figure out the water situation (why is it brown and slimy feeling!?) and get their cleaning staff to do a better job of cleaning and refilling the bathroom toiletries.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, but it is truly the staff that shine at this establishment. Traveling through from New Mexico to Florida my friend and I stayed at this hotel at the mid-point of our journey. The next morning as we departed at 5AM, I left my bag containing my laptop and other work devices in the parking lot, not to realize it until 2.5 hours and over 150 miles away. With a sinking feeling, I called the hotel, expecting the worst. What I received were Hilton Garden staff that checked the parking lot a few times until they found my bag and the manager Michael calling me not much later to assure me he would be happy to take it to UPS and overnight it to me per my request. The encounter has ensured that whereever I travel in the future, the Hilton will always be my first choice for lodging. Thank you, Michael and staff!

I love Hilton brand, however this specific location I was not impressed. The room was cleanish. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The water was brown and slimy feeling. The towels were dingy brown. Some furniture pieces were needing replaced due to being worn out. The front desk staff was helpful but cleaning staff was loud and blocking hallways.

This hotel needs to be remodeled! I was very disappointed with how downhill it has gone. Rusty tubs, light bulbs out, wall paper peeling off, no tidying up of room on a 4 night stay. Breakfast used to be free for diamond member. Now it is $15.00. Cigarette butts littered in flower pots on patio.

I arrived on that Friday and the lady that was at the desk was awful but I waited around and ate lunch at the hotel the kitchen staff was excellent and also the bartender I talked my softball team into staying there so we had a total of 15 rooms but after the tournament was over Saturday the night audit came outside after the rain and said she had complaints of us being outside and disturbing the I asked who complained no answer only thing was she came out side and seen a lot of African Americans guys outside and decided we was not patrons there not knowing we had almost a floor to ourselves from the rooms we had i never been so mad in my life because after asking how was we disturbing any one and we was in our vehicles waiting on the rain to stop so I asked the lady at the desk in the morning was there any reports of a disturbance last night nothing was in the long books but I was threatening calling the police on me the night before I recommend if u r color never stay there and yes it was a older white lady both Friday when I arrived and Saturday night that threaten to call the police on me

This is not the Hilton quality I remember. This location needs maintenance. Everything looks nice at first glance but it doesn't take long to see things that need to be repaired or replaced. My room lights had cracked shades, lights out, and wobbly assembly. There was a greasy hand/forehead smudge on the window, the tv remote was gross, the bathroom fixtures were barely clinging to the wall, and the tub had rust or something along the edge. amp shades are cracked.

What bothers me most is many of these things are easy repair.

Do not stay here, rooms are disgusting, not clean, water is nasty and dirty, showers are nasty, they don’t replenish anything in the room, if you have to ask they act as if you are bothering the. While watching their phone. Went down to breakfast and the lady took forever and wasn’t busy at all. Was rude the whole time. It is freaking disgusting!! The shower had other guests hair in it, so you know it wasn’t clean, toilet paper not changed, soap not replaced. I had to ask for towels. Mud on the bed. I mean just awful and for what we paid. Do better!! We won’t be back and I’ll make sure my friends won’t either.

Man this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at…. The room and bathroom were both dirty and terrible….. the beds were terrible, my back is killing me….. I did enjoy the bar downstairs in the lobby … the hotel exterior and interior entrance will fool you though!! DO NOT STAY HERE !!

The worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I've been around the world. After driving for 15 hours, lady at check in was rude and said she was trying to get a hold of me all day because they didn't have a room for me. I had a reservation for over a month, how could that be. She found a room for me and that was a mistake. I should have seen the writing on the wall, I regret not sleeping in my truck. The room was filthy and that's a understatement. I found moldy chicken at the foot of the bed. I don't think the room was ever vacuumed or cleaned since the hotel was built. The bathroom had everybody's hair but mine on the floor and in the shower. For a second I attempted to start the shower but after seeing all the clumps of hair in the shower and the drain not draining, I backed out and just left. Think twice before staying at this place and keep driving to the next hotel. A crack hotel would probably have been cleaner.

I deleted my 6 year old 5 star because the owners have let this place go. Rusty bathtubs, dirty microwaves, flaky Air conditioners. Then, the incompetent lady at the front desk charged my daughter's card even tho I used my own. The result was we both were charged with a hold for 3-5 business days. No offer to compensate their mistake and just blew it off said nothing they can do. We stayed here every year for a decade and will never stay here again. I will be contacting Hilton corporate as it is clear from the canned owner response they're not truly addressing the issues in this once great hotel.

From the moment we checked in it was a nightmare. Front desk lady was extremely rude. Walked into our room and was hit by a strong odor. We started looking around the room are it is disgusting. I have never stayed in a hotel this dirty. Will never stay here ever again. DO NOT recommend.

EDIT: they also accidentally charged my card $450 when Patricia at the front desk told me I wouldn’t be charged. Now I have to wait days to get almost $500 back. This place is absolute trash.

Aside from the kinda cute front this hotel is full of drawbacks, there is mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, all the water is hard water which in ifs self would be fine but its also BROWN, breakfast is an additional $15 per person, beds are ok not terrible but not comfortable either, and only one bag dolly, 2-10 would not recommend.

Never have I stayed at any similar hotel in the United States where breakfast wasn’t included.

Stopped to sleep and eat. Didn’t eat. Would never pay $15 for dry bagels and reconstituted eggs.

The water is brown. BROWN.
I need a shower after my shower.

Room seemed clean enough. Wasn’t there for more than 9 hours.
The bed is not very comfortable, but not completely awful. Didn’t sleep well.

Checked in on Thursday, Feb 23rd. Cleaned tub because of rust stains. (Bought cleaning solution because I do not trust hotel cleaning out the tub.) Quality of the room was "questionable." We stayed because it was what was left available to us. (We were checked into another hotel and were "kicked out" because hotel was overbooked.) Anyway, we were here. The next day, we decided that evening to wash clothes as we were preparing to depart that morning for a funeral.

This is where the fun begins. Went to use the laundromat on the first floor. Told that we needed to scan a code in order to access the machine. When that did not work, the front desk help assisted my wife with her card to key in information.
Unfortunately, that did not work, but they did charge her card $1.99 and $1 that very night.

The restaurant person who was also on staff then was sent in to inform us that we would have to put $20 on the app. (WE JUST HAD ONE LOAD OF CLOTHES TO WASH AND DRY.)

We were then informed that there was nothing that they could do. We were given the option to speak with the manager that Saturday. The problem was we were trying to get to a funeral at 11 that was roughly 20-25 miles away from the hotel, and we were not assured as to when the manager would actually arrive.

As of today (2/29), the "epedias club" that is responsible for the app for the laundromat has a "pending" charge of $39.99 on our card. [I changed the status from "two" stars to "one" because the pending transaction, just went through!!! Now we have to go to the bank and get another card to prevent any further future transactions.]

This is outrageous!!!! This was supposed to be a convenience, and it is everything but convenient. Now to have to worry that we are being scammed trying to use the laundromat at the hotel.

The downstairs laundromat is an INCONVENIENCE to your customers, particularly when you are not going to assume any responsibility for problems which may arise. You had just better inform persons of the laundromat service around from the hotel that is open 24 hours and takes quarters!!!

This hotel is way too expensive for what it is?
And nothing here is free. Breakfast is fifteen dollars and cokes and drinks are three and four dollars.There were pubic hairs on the shampoo bottle and all over the ceiling. The bathtub was rusted and painted over with white paint and rusted some more.

So you can only take a shower. The bed was pretty Lumpy it was almost as if everything was second hand, there were urine stains on the carpet All throughout the hotel from the dogs that are allowed to stay there.
But at least it didn't Have a smell to it. When I asked an employee What time is breakfast she said she didn't know.
And good luck when you call this place. Because you can never get through to a human. Literally ever not even from the room.

This hotel is not good, service was very poor and I mean poor, tried to call the location numerous times with no answer or employee hanging up in your face. I booked a room and it said I couldn't cancel or modify because it was was passed the date and I booked the room Feb 28 but past the cancelation date was the 26th and I'm not understanding what that's about now I'm getting charged and they gave me a room for a person with disabilities and I'm not disabled, I would much rather let someone who needs this room have it instead of me, I just want my booking canceled or money back

First of all I had to argue with the lady at the desk that I had a reservation with 3 rooms. Showed her my confirmation number and then she said I had only one room. It went down hill from there. After she figured it out I told her my daughter needs to go to room by the pool and would arrive in 15 minutes. My daughter had her ID but they still had to call me. Never had this trouble. Her name was ON THE RESERVATION. Fast forward to check out. These rooms were paid for in January and I was charged AGAIN AND FOR BREAKFAST. We did not eat at the hotel. Manager refunded my room charge right away but still waiting to hear back on why we were charged for breakfast. This is unacceptable and advise others to stay someplace else. We have stayed here for at least 15 years and NEVER had this problem. Going next door from now on. Too many better choices. And air is musty coming out of AC.

For a Hilton Gardens in West Monroe, the outside, I gave you two stars as far as the inside I wouldn’t stay there again if you gave me a free room but my room with as many problems that it had the bed was very comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay there again just because I saw so many things that was in disrepair makes it hard to stay there when you got other brand new hotels in the same area

We stayed in 501 on 2/9/24 and the Pillows were horrible. Worst night of sleep ever and the shower had a big rust spot in it. the front desk service was worse than the pillows they never answered the phone. My wife forgot her wedding ring in the room after we checked out we were 30mins away when she realized it. So we tried calling to see if house keeping had it. So we called and called and called no one answered we left 2 messages no return call. When we made it back the lady at the front desk said hey I got your message.........but she didn't return the call.
