Not the place for vegans! They are not able to accommodate at all. Their bread contains eggs and if you ask to replace eggs and cheese by an avocado you are charged extra for the avocado. The room doesn't have AC and no curtains. You can't close the window so you have street noise during the whole night.

Our week at HBA was, overall, lovely. The property, both hotel & grounds, is kept in immaculate condition & we were treated to sloth sightings on the grounds daily. Once the groundskeepers knew we were interested, they gladly pointed out sloths & iguanas on the grounds. We awoke every morning to the songs of an amazing array of birds & could occasionally hear a troop of howler monkeys going at it. We stayed in the Dolphin Room, whose only drawback was being on the west end & more exposed to afternoon sun. Having used translucent (polycarbonate?) roofing over the bathroom and a portion of the bedroom created a pronounced greenhouse effect making the room sweltering hot during most of the day. ???? Next visit, we will aim for the Howler Suite on the opposite (east) end, with afternoon shade & a direct view of the Caribbean Sea. ????

Super restaurant Bonne nourriture et emplacement absolument incroyable

Nous avons eu le jungle lodge (ou quelque chose de similaire) à Banana Azul. La chambre en elle-même était bien et le lit était confortable. Cependant, comme il s'agit d'une cabane en bois, des insectes ou d'autres petits animaux comme les geckos entrent souvent dans la pièce. Il y a une moustiquaire dans la chambre, que vous devez également utiliser si vous ne voulez pas vous faire piquer la nuit. Il n'y a pas de climatisation, il faut donc utiliser le ventilateur supplémentaire la nuit pour qu'il ne fasse pas trop chaud, car le ventilateur de plafond ne sert à rien.

Le service de l'hôtel était excellent. Tous les employés étaient totalement arrangeants et gentils. Un employé s'est même rendu au supermarché voisin pour nous acheter une carte SIM prépayée adaptée à notre séjour au Costa Rica.

Vous pourrez profiter de la mer sur la plage de l'hôtel et vous faire apporter des collations/boissons sur votre chaise longue.

La nourriture au restaurant de l'hôtel et le petit-déjeuner étaient très savoureux, mais aussi un peu plus chers.
