We stopped by this place after heading back from Poas and the La Paz Waterfalls to pick up a GeoCache actually, and as we were hungry we decided to stay for dinner and it was one of the best decisions of an already excellent day!

The service is fantastic, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The warmth and scent of the fireplace is wonderful, and then the food! Tender, succulent chicken breast. Perfectly cooked salmon trout, crispy fresh vegetables! An absolutely excellent experience of the senses!

There was SO MUCH to love about this place. Loved the seclusion. Loved the restaurant... world class food!!! The farm and walking trails were an unexpected bonus. As a writer this place gives me so much inspiration. What a jewel!

Absolutely loved this place! My husband and I found the area and the grounds beautiful.

Big shout-out to Erik, Marco and Jesus for the outstanding service from the moment we checked in. They are great hosts and servers and we have nothing but gratitude towards them. The food is truly delicious, so another shot out to the cooks.
Everyone was friendly and attentive.

We stayed at the standard plus chalet and it was very cute, but steps to the second floor can be a bit dangerous, especially going down, so I'd recommend being cautious if you have children with you or, if you are getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, as it is downstairs.
Other than that, perfect stay!
We will be back for sure.
