1 hr of enjoyment and fun historical stories. Talia was fantastic and provided interesting information. I know there are other close visits but “the real” in the name is what was important to us - we wanted to hear factually relevant stories (or best as historical facts can be accurate) while being entertained. Being able to see the close walls and height was impressive. The rooms that were setup were nicely done.
I read reviews saying 5 star so my expectations were high, and it is a little expensive but was still very pleased with the number of rooms we got to see. Hopefully they will eventually add a few more to further extend the architecture of this interesting place.

Awesome time on this tour with Zander. I learned so much and it was so cool to see it all first hand.

We went on 13/04 and had the lovely Andrew L as our guide. It was absolutely fantastic and he had us skitting with laughter the whole time. He blended history and humour expertly and gave us a tour we'll be recommending to everyone!
We booked on the day of with no bother but it is something you'd want to book ahead of time. Would recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh :)

This was a really interesting and different tour. The guide was friendly and well versed. I recommend if you have never been.

We did the tour on Thursday with the kids. Very interesting to learn about this period of time. Special thanks to Natalia, our guide who really makes the difference : she is a great interpretor, lots of energy and she makes everything so you have a great moment.

Les closes étaient des ruelles qui descendaient de la Royal Mile vers les marais. Elles étaient très étroites et bordaient de d'habitation. Entre deux d'entre elles dont Mary King's Close, une partie des habitations ont été rasées afin de servir de fondations des City Chambers. Les deux ruelles et les habitations des 1er niveaux existent encore mais souterraines.
La visite ne se fait qu'avec un guide. L'audioguide en français est compris dans le prix d'entrée. Très intéressant, on a un très bon aperçu de la vie dans ces ruelles au XVIIe siècle.

Une visite insolite des souterrains d'Edimbourg, autour d'anecdotes intéressantes et rendues vivantes par un guide excellent!
Se trata de una visita ineludible, el ambiente es increíble, todos tus sentidos son alerta y parece muy bien cómo podía ser la vida en la época.Contrariamente al aviso anterior, no tuve problema con el audioguía que pude oír adecuadamente y sin suplemento (había realizado transporte con antelación la reserva de Internet y en la ventanilla el día de la visita nos ha vuelto a poner el audioguía sin suplemento).¡Incluso con un buen nivel en inglés, era bastante difícil comprender la guía que tenía un cliente más que pronunciado!
Esta parte subterránea de la ciudad se visita con un guía. El problema, si no bilingües o tiene el mal con el cliente escocés, es que se (con suplemento) el audioguía. Y no estará nada para facilitarle la vida… la guía habla más muy que el gala, las etapas que deben seguir mall indicadas, y la guía te hará avanzar rápidamente que el audioguía… ¡Te resultará con la impresión de haber pasado lado de la visita… que sin embargo no se da!
