The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and they had a good breakfast room. The location was great. We traveled to Universal the next day, which was very close by. Good value for the money.

The theme of the hotel really got me staying in different old time movie stars names rooms what a cute gimmick it worked, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable the outside was as clean as the inside will stay here again most definitely ???? ????

Buena ubicacion. Muy amables todos.
Las camas son comodas. Pero hay muchos ruidos,(de la calle, se escucha cada que los otros huespedes pasan), los espacios del estacionamiento son insuficientes y estan muy pequeños. El wifi malo. Y el lugar para desayunar es diminuto no cabe la gente.
Caro en relacion a lo que recibes.

Es un volado al aire estar aquí, de tres noches, dos van siendo terribles.

La gente del hotel es cumplida y trata de poner orden. Pero tantas personas de distintas culturas y educación, no respetan las restricciones, la gente grita, fuma en los pasillos, frente a los autos y se vuelve una locura poder dormir un poco aquí.

Desafortunadamente esta calificación va para el hotel para que hagan cumplir las restricciones y reglas al pie de la letra.

El desayuno es variado y recomiendo hacerlo al primer minuto que está disponible, pues el espacio donde lo sirven es con apenas tres mesas y 3 sillas cada una más una periquera.

No tiene elevador, para que lo consideres en subir con maletas de más de 15 kilos .

Overall it was really decent hotel for the price. And you don't have to pay for parking like many other hotels in town. Free breakfast in the morning is a huge bonus. Super convenient location close to Hollywood Blvd and and other restaurants. Grocery store right across the street was helpful. Really enjoyed sitting by the pool every night. Only negatives are the rooms are small but very clean. And there are lots of homeless people wondering around sometimes through the courtyard of the hotel. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip.

Experience tres mitigée.
Je partais méfiant lors de la réservation,connaissant bien le quartier, et mes doutes se sont confirmés.
Les plus:
-le parking gratuit, mais places limitées et les derniers sont stockés sur le patio piscine intérieur (!!!) ..(quelle belles sensations de vacances à la piscine avec ces véhicules et les incommodités qui en découlent.)
-à deux pas de sunset strip ,De runyon canyon pour ses balades et footings, ou le walk of fame pour ceux qui recherchent ce quartier cliché archi touristique.
-petit déjeuner de dépannage ,qui a le mérite d’exister...
-Chambre plutot ..récente, prix contenus , propreté de la chambre..
Les moins:
Quartier glauque le soir, tres bruyant avec beaucoup de homeless , de personnes drogueés ,instaurant beaucoup d’insécurité.
En face de l'hôtel le samedi après midi /soir, événements ou soirées avec musique insupportable dans un entrepôt.
-Hotel avec beaucoup de flux ou passages dans les coursives, a des heures avancées, clients ou autres ,difficile à evaluer, du bruit en conséquence , des rassemblements dans les escaliers pour fumer ,sensation d’insécurité, personnes qui fument dans les couloirs et les chambres malgré l’interdiction, ca empeste le canabis ou l’herbe le soir/nuit.
-draps du lit trop courts par rapport au matelas king size ,qui empêchent de se couvrir la nuit intégralement.
-Les poubelles sur les coursives constatées pleines de detritus des soirées ,ou remplies de cigarettes.
-Salle de petit déjeuner -minuscule- et complète avec 3 ou 4 personnes ,j’imagine en haute saison..
impossible d’y dejeuner en toute tranquillité, c’est une calamité.
-Chambre bien équipée mais visiblement dégradée ,vieillissant mal , malgré l’équipement convenable et la propreté.
trous de cigarettes dans les draps , murs abîmés,extrêmement fins ,nous permettant de suivre les conversations des voisins,miroir de salle de bain dévissé et posé sur le lavabo,climatisation très bruyante, pas de place pour poser des éléments sur le lavabo, pas d'étagère.
Au final, nous avons passé 3 nuits sans y être sereins et apaisés, peu rassurés et ayant hâte d’en avoir fini..ce ne fut pas un plaisir mais un hébergement de souffrance .
Cet hôtel n’est pas aux standards de l’empreinte best western.
Je ne renouvèlerai pas cette expérience malgre la bonne situation de l’hotel ,touristiquement.

We booked this hotel because they have the 3 things I look for:
1) a room that fits our family of 6 so I don't have to book 2 rooms 2) free breakfast
3) affordability
Those are pretty much all of the PROS. Well, location was okay, too- close to Universal Studios, the Hollywood sign, the LA zoo, and close-ish to the beach (1/2 hour to santa Monica).
Unfortunately, we will never stay at this hotel again mainly because of the parking situation. It was stressful to say the least. First of all, there are not enough parking spots for everyone. Second, the parking spots that are available are very tight! If you have a large SUV, I would stay somewhere else. We have an extended Ford Expedition and at one point, we had to do a 13 point turn to get into a spot. I frankly hated coming back to the hotel every night because I was so stressed about parking!
The other things we didnt love were: No hot tub, the breakfast room is tiny and only has 3 tables, and I swear I was getting bit by bugs in our bed.
Lastly, we stayed 3 nights and I interacted with 3 different men at the front desk. Only 1 out of the 3 was friendly and cheerful. The other 2 men looked like they'd rather be anywhere else! No chipper greeting or information about the hotel upon checking in... I just expected friendlier service like we get at every other hotel we stay at. I wish I had gotten the name of the friendly desk clerk- he was refreshing!

Great value for the price. Parking is free and they have good options for breakfast, which is also free. The rooms are clean and cozy. They also have security on site. All around, worth the money and I’d stay here again.

My friend live here. It is nice environment and service but parking has tiny spots.

stayed here before once and it was a good experience, this time it was fine until the last night of our stay where our neighbors were screaming arguing and blasting music and fighting. after many attempts of calling the lobby the receptionist “jose fondex” as he introduced himself did not report anything from 2:30-3:30-4-5-6am calls to the security. i personally had to go find security at 6:24 am who told me nothing was reported. horrible experience with no solution.. i asked for refund for this night and the receptionist laughed in my face and was yelling “no refund”, and said “management is not here”. the noise does not stop. the receptionist said it’s not his problem and that he “called the room but they don’t pick up so he can’t do anything” the security threatened them with police but the neighbors now fight even more. NIGHTMARE

Parking is limited. Staff is amazing and house keeping were phenomenal. Security kept people away and I felt safe. Close to a supr market and the rooms were super clean. Only downside was no counter space in bathroom.

Great location. Rooms are clean. Staff work really hard to maintain a high standard. Cory was very helpful at the front counter. It has a bit of road traffic, but it's the location. LA is a massive area, so this location is to Hollywood, Bev Hills, etc. was great!!.
