Muy recomendable. Como su nombre indica, este conjunto de gran encanto, enlosado de rosa, a dos pasos de Sunset, incluye un hotel y villas circundantes. Se presenta como un pueblo, con sus cursos, caminos antiguos empedrados de ladrillo, bosquetes de plataneros, dos piscinas, césped y cerámica. Las 102 habitaciones (juniors y normal) están situadas en el edificio principal, pero te aconsejamos, si tienes los medios, una de las 40 villas colocadas en el amplio y exuberante jardín, auténticas casas de sueño con bonita chimenea y moqueta muy gruesa. Lo más importante es el espíritu del lugar. Una terraza deliciosa frente a una piscina, un restaurante totalmente informal pero muy cómodo sirve una cocina sencilla. El hotel recibe a la clientela del espectáculo-biz y posee su propio estudio de registro, algo único en Los Ángeles. Ha recibido grupos como U 2, Guns N'Roses, Aerosmith, Wu Tang Clan…
The grounds of this property are magnificent - somehow managing to be relaxing and exciting at the same time. If not for the occasional sirens it was easy to forget that we were in the middle of a very urban area.
The restaurant has great food and a fun bar. We never stopped in the other bar but it sounded like great fun whenever we walked past.
The house keeping is awesome! Not intrusive and made sure everything looks refreshed when we returned to our room.
It was also nice that there is a town car available to take us short distances.
The only improvement I would suggest is to offer reduced parking rates in the evening so that local friends/family could drive over and visit us.
