Mike with Marathon Helicopters is an absolute pro! He could have landed the helicopter on a dime if he had to. While we don’t have a fear of heights, we felt incredibly safe and stable with Mike at the stick. We chose him for our wedding elopement and he chose the most beautiful and natural sites Seward has to offer. He was such a joy to fly with and he even officiated our wedding! He was relaxed and fun and really enhanced our experience during our wedding day. We are forever grateful for his expert abilities and robust knowledge of the area. When we find our way back to The Last Frontier, Mike and Marathon Helicopters will be our first stop!

Awesome, they allowed us to spend some extra $ for a sunset flight to a glacier and it was the most epic thing on our whole Alaska trip! Highly recommend, they also have a nice waiting room, viewing deck on top, and some cool merch to shop if you get there early.

Fantastic People and Business right here folks!! We were flown over the most fascinating scenery and landed right in front of a glacier that we were able to walk out on . Absolutely my #1 choice for helicopter tour companies in the Seward area!!

Flew with these guys a couple of times while I was visiting Seward. They flew us out to the base of Hawk Glacier for a hike on the glacier, and then flew with them again out to the ice flow lagoon at the base of Bear Glacier to go kayaking in the lagoon. Friendly staff, great pilot, and the best way to see the awesome beauty of Alaska. The kayaking in the Bear Glacier lagoon was especially awe-inspiring! Truly an experience of a lifetime! Just want to thank Marathon Helicopters for making it happen.

Didn’t get motion sick! I’ve flown on 2 other helicopter tours and this was the first one I didn’t get motion sick on, Mike was a very kind and fun pilot to ride with. Would defiantly recommend!

We hired Marathon for our helicopter elopement in July and got our moneys worth and beyond. We highly highly recommend getting a ride from marathon whether it is a tour or elopement.

We really wanted our thirst for adventure to be quenched and represented by our elopement and Mike delivered with his landing choices. We could feel Mikes aligned love for adventure and his love for sharing these beautiful locations with his guests.

When we return to Seward for our anniversary we will 100% be returning for another flight.

We flew with marathon as part of an elopement package and were completely blown away by both the customer service at first impression and the pilot who was so kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this company! We plan to come back on many anniversaries to come!

I'm a wedding photographer and have photographed many helicopter weddings across North America, and I've never worked with a heli company with such incredible customer service. Seriously. Pinch me! I still can't believe how amazing it was. We lucked out with gorgeous weather. The pilot was amazing, super friendly, and fun to chat with. We did the 30 minute tour with the add on of stopping at the beach by the glacier. Totally worth it!!

The best part of visiting Seward! You've got to see it from the air! Mike will fly you across the water to the glaciers, pointing out wildlife, hikers, and beautiful sights! Not to mention landing near a slab of ice! He's an amazing pilot! Thank you for making my FB friends so jealous!

Simply the best adventure of our lives! Mike the owner/pilot was amazing as he showed us the glaciers, animals, and stunning beauty in the area around Seward. We saw Dahl Sheep, bears, moose, otters and seals as we flew for one hour in one of the most beautiful areas on the planet. We added on a beach landing by the crystal clear waters in the lake below Bear Glacier where wildflowers covered the ground and hundreds of icebergs floated majestically in the blue water. We have traveled extensively and this experience truly surpassed all our other adventures. We felt totally safe with Mike at the controls. I give this trip the best review possible!

We booked this on the very last day with helicopter landing on glacier. It was a good experience. The staff was courteous and nice. But I guess it didn't live upto the hype that I expected.
