Extrêmement déçue par cette journée au prix exorbitant (comparé à toutes les activités incroyables en Namibie)…. Une usine à touristes, beaucoup trop surcotée… La matinée entassés dans un catamaran dans la brume et le froid (sachant que c’est brumeux tous les matins en bord de côte…), avec des animaux « sauvages » que tout le monde touche alors qu’ils n’en ont pas envie (le guide y compris), et bien que le personnel soit gentil, l’activité en elle-même est franchement décevante… L’après-midi en 4x4 : à 5 entassés dans un 4x4 (nous 2 + le guide + 2 personnes inconnues). Je me suis retrouvée derrière au milieu pendant 3h… bien que le guide était très gentil, encore une fois le prix était beaucoup trop élevé pour ce que c’était… Réfléchissez bien avant de réserver pour cette activité clairement attrape-touristes, qui nous a coûté à 2 la maudique somme de 360€ (!!!!!!), sachant que par exemple une demie journée avec un guide dans Etosha coute 35€/personne et est beaucoup plus incroyable, le choix est vite fait…. NO LIMIT 4X4 RENTALS & TOURS SWAKOPMUND IS THE BEST PLACE TO VISIT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. FRIENDLY PEOPLE AND ALWAYS HELPFULL. MUST END YOUR YEAR WITH A VISIT IN NAMIBIA

We enjoyed the tour to Sandwich Harbour. We had a great guide which provided plenty of information and some fun driving. Be aware that you might need a robust stomach and that often the coastal area is quite foggy/misty, in particular in the morning. A great lunch break with oysters was included.

Great place to do a tour. Great guides too. But watch out where you park your car. The 'parking guards' in front of the tourcompany offices are very annoying and cannot be trusted. They WILL damage your car if they think you give them not enough money.

Magical experience through the dunes with our guide Nico! The views are sensational, the ride is so much fun, snacks are good et explanations given are very interesting. We recommand this tour. You won’t regret it!

Wir haben heute die Sandwich Harbour Tour gemacht und zu meinem Glück, mit Mike, dem wohl erfahrensten Guide, den man sich wünschen kann. Wir sind wieder schlauer geworden, haben tolle Erfahrungen sammeln können und eine Menge Eindrücke und Bilder gesammelt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schöne Tour, leider war bei uns das Wetter nicht ganz optimal. Leider muss ich sagen, dass der Preis zu hoch ist, für das, was man erlebt.

Sandwich Harbour is the best place to organise your visit at the Dunes! We were on a tight time schedule and as photographers we wanted very specific things to do. The lady in the office was very helpful and arrange as the best driver we could have! Niko is a great guy, great driver and can give you the best ride of your life! Is the type of guy that you definitely want to have a beer after the ride…!

We enjoyed a fantastic sunset tour to sandwhich harbour. Our guide Mike was very friendly and is a great driver. The scenery is breathtaking. The snack at the end of the tour was delicious. All in all a very enjoyable experience!

Tolles Abenteuer mit dem 4X4 durch die Sanddünen mit Neigungen bis zu 35 Grad.
Zudem auch eine tolle Natur mit Flamingos, Schakalen und Orix.

Nous avons fait l'excursion sunset à Sandwich Harbour avec cette agence. L'expérience était géniale bien qu'un peu expéditif dû au retard des guides. Nous avons profité du sunset avec des coupes de champagne et plein de bonnes choses à manger!

Journée inoubliable dans la bonne humeur d'une sortie en 4x4 pour découvrir Sandwitch harbour et ses fameuses dunes qui "tombent dans l'océan".
Excursion au départ de Walvis Bay, puis direction Sandwich H. par le bord de mer avec des arrêts photos. Petite marche dans les dunes puis pique nique fait maison aux portes de Sandwich Harbour, retour par les dunes. Explications tout au long du trajet et malgré notre anglais basique on a réussi à comprendre.
Je recommande cette entreprise familiale, les 2 frères sont géniaux.

We were a group of 9 seniors and booked 3 vehicles for the full day tour of the dunes but when we arrived we were told there were only 2 vehicles (and I had received an email the day prior to our tour confirming the 3 vehicles). Fortunately one of our group wasn't able to join us and we were able to "cram" into the 2 vehicles....definitely was not a comfortable day (I have no idea where we would have put the 9th person...on the roof maybe???).
I've booked with the company several times over the years but will definitely have second thoughts (or only book one vehicle for a group of 3 - they can't change that reservation!!!) for future visits.
The office person had a lot of excuses and did give us a small discount when I requested it....but the crowded conditions in the vehicles definitely took away from enjoying the tour.
