Pricing was a bit of a mess, we got promised discount, but had to pay the full amount. Watch out for the baboons that try and steal from your room. Awesome location but unfortunately the infrastructure does not match the price in regards to working toilets, door locks and other basic fixes. Still worth it to go do the fish river canyon hike!

This resort has a lot of potential. However, it is not well maintained.
The shop barely has stock, and the souvenir pricing can really come down.
The restaurant food was tasty, but there is room for improvement. The price and what you get don't add up.

Groot 'spacious' wooneenhede wat effe verwaarloos is. Soveel meer kan gedoen word om eenhede te bemark. Ook die restaurant en bediening nie op standaard nie. Maar ons nogtans lekker oornag en na die Visrivierstap was dit vir ons heel luuks.

Considering that the outdoor pool was not working, that there was no running water during nightime and the bar was poorly stocked, the rate of 1,350 NAD PP sharing is a bit out of range. There are many places with better value for money in Namibia. Visited 28.02.23

Dirty! Derelict! Staff who are surly and disinterested. Filthy hot pools. Toilets don’t flush showers don’t work aircon doesn’t work. In the shop and bar area fridges and freezers don’t work. So in 46 degree heat you cannot buy a cold anything ! As the ONLY patrons in the restaurant the VERY surly and unpleasant staff took 40 minutes to acknowledge our presence and two hours to being 2 steaks. You pay R2500 for 2 people .. supposedly includes breakfast and dinner. But 90% of the dinner options were unavailable. Breakfast (scrambled egg) was brown dry and cold. This place is a health hazard !

The place is great. The food is great. However there is no one to ensure the safety of the patrons and particularly their children playing in the pools. This implies the parents are expected to ensure the safety of their children. When they don't, it falls to other users. In our experience I had a very hostile attack by a parent who was not looking after his child. I was threatened with assault. The whole experience left a very bad impression. The resort should not be abrogating its responsibilities.

Die Unterkunft war im Grunde in Ordnung. Der Indoor und der Outdoor Pool waren super. Nach einer Reklamation, dass sich die Klimaanlage nicht abstellen lässt wurde auch sofort geholfen. Zwei Männer kamen und haben sich innen alles genau angesehen. Leider war nach unserm Bad das Bargeld im Koffer weg. Da war definitiv jemand im Haus und hat alles durchsucht. Daher die schlechte Bewertung. Schade, denn dieser Eindruck überwiegt.

... the room was not cleaned in months, couldn't even walk barefoot on the tiles .... full of dust .... headboards of the beds were a grey colour due to dust.. only one glass in a room for 2 ... terrible service in restaurant ... quality of dinner was poor .... steak was SO chewy .... for breakfast same table as previous evening was not cleaned and our wine cork and serviettes was still on the table, table not even wiped before breakfast was served ... however the views are priceless ... lodge accommodation not recommended at all. ... NO touch at all ....

What a lovely stay, with friendly service. Just what we needed after the gruelling hike. We will definitely come again.

La route d'accès est assez éprouvante,en venant du nord .Gardes à l'entrée, on montre la résa, accueil correct ,plan pour la chambre (se sera là) .la chambre rie à dire donne sur une cour ,un mur de pierres,la sdb moderne, le restau n'est pas fameux,un piscine dans le couloir ,pas très heureux .L'épicerie n'a pas grand chose à proposer,ici on est au bout du monde .Gardes encore pour repartir .
