El centro de kitesurf, antes en Peri Peri, se ha trasladado al lado. Los simpáticos Chris y Sasha han abierto su casa a los turistas, especialmente a los kitesurfistas. Su dormitorio es una buena alternativa a los albergues de Tofo, con sólo cuatro camas, un bonito cuarto de baño compartido y un buen desayuno en una mesa acogedora, al igual que las habitaciones dobles. La casa en la ladera tiene cocina, un bonito jardín y una terraza con gatos ronroneando, así que se siente como en casa.

Just minutes away from the beach, kite surf hostel was my favorite accommodation during my entire visit while traveling through Africa. Sasha and Chris (the hosts) were always present to give any help necessary. There were very accommodating when we decided to stay a few extra nights because we loved it there so much. They went above and beyond really giving us a local experience by taking all the guests out for live music and drinks. It really felt like home away from home. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

Lovely place built and maintained by the owners Sascha & Chris. A real helpful couple who were very welcoming.
The outdoor area has a lot to offer for relaxing, reading, eating (with others).
We did a barbecue with all guests (next time we try the self-built pizza oven too ;))
Our private room with ensuite bathroom was perfect & very clean. The beach and Tofo market was a 2-min stair-walk away!
We took also kitesurfing lessons, and were very happy with Chris as a very patient instructor.
All in all, 10/10. And next time we come, we’ll bring a Nutella for the owners :D or YOU who is planning to come Kitesurfhouse Tofo.

Had a not so welcoming experience considering the 5 star ratings and actually heard from two different other travelers experiencing the same, so I decided to give future travelers the opportunity for improved expectation management.
1. There is no real opportunity for camping. They don't allow tents in the garden and overlanders have to stay at the street.
2. Don't expect the open and welcoming vibe of normal kitesurf schools here if you haven't booked in advance. We felt like the owners tried to talk us out of kitesurfing and once again got simmiliar feedback from other travelers.
That being said, the facilities look good and I can't give any feedback on kite lessons.

I stayed at the en-suite double room and loved every second there. The room and hostel is made with love and really cosy. The owners are lovely and are travellers themselves. I loved that they even went out for dinner with the guests and joined for a chat at breakfast or dinner. You meet very nice people and the whole vibe of the place is amazing. It is also very centrally located near the market and restaurants but very quiet as it is on the hill.
