Fermé l'hiver mais on peut y stationner gratuitement, l'espace est tellement vaste, tellement reculé, une de mes meilleures nuits en plus le camping est le point de départ d'un trail de 8h pour aller visiter les deux glaciers adjacents, magique l'un des meilleurs moments de mon trip.

It’s awful that they don’t have any open or closing times anywhere visible for campers from outside Iceland.

This camp was probably the best one (and the cheapest one too) we have experienced during our roadtrip through Iceland.

It has toilets, hot showers, kitchen (without gas tho, you have to bring your own), waching maschine and a lot of place to either park your car or build a tent. For a price of 1,800 ISK per person, it's really an unbeatable price/value ration here in Iceland

The only downside was that it could be a little cleaner.

It's 24/7 and you can pay via 3 options (info on the attached image below) and in the morning and evening, there comes a guy who charges you for the stay.

Camping le plus sale que l’on a fait depuis le début, rien d’étonnant au vu de la vaillance du jeune homme qui s’en occupe.

Absoluely perfect: heated bathrooms and free showers, indoor heated kitchen with hot water and very few people (at least in late August). There is also a washing machine and dryer, but you'll need coins to use them.

Porównując do innych kempingów na campind card to tu jest świetnie. 2 prysznice z ubikacją podgrzewane z gorącą wodą! Dodatkowo są 2 wc i 4 krany zewnętrzne z zimną wodą. Jest małe pomieszczenie ogrzewane ze stołem i pralką i suszarką. Kemping jest usytuowany w przepięknym miejscu nad stawem w otoczeniu gór. Czystość jest ns dopuszczalnym poziomie jak na kemping ????

Just another Icelandic campsite. Place enough, good electricity, but too few toilets. Spacious showers. Waste was piling over, but also that seems to be fairly normal. Nonperson at the reception, but someone coming to pick up the money. They accept the camping card, so that's good. Nearby nothing rally to do, except eating cake at a great bakery and a short hike along the river in town.

El camping está muy bien situado cerca de un lago y se puede llegar andando al pueblo. Cuenta con un equipamiento muy bueno con duchas calientes, calefacción en los baños, una pequeña cocina y zona de lavandería. La lavandería funciona con monedas y no existe la posibilidad de cambiarlas. Nos atendió un chico muy simpático que nos ayudó con todo.

War leider nicht sehr sauber. Stellplatz ist in Ordnung. 2 Duschen und 2 Klos vorhanden (jeweils zusammen). Kleiner Aufenthaltsraum (schön warm) mit Spüle.

El mejor camping que estuvimos con la tarjeta "Camping Card".
Sitio muy tranquilo al lado de un lago, con patitos.
Equipado con duchas incluidas con la tarjeta, wc's, sitio cerrado y con calefacción para comer, lavar los platos, rentadora y secadora de pago con monedas.
No le pongo cinco estrellas porque la zona cerrada solo tiene una mesa y una barra, es pequeña, y no tiene para cocinar.
Un lugar muy recomendable!!!

Świetny kemping. Ogrzewane toalety, prysznic w cenie, dostępna kuchnia (bez kuchenki, ale jest miejsce, by zjeść i czajnik elektryczny).

Nice place. A pity that the fee for electricity increases stop less. Just imagine you will drain 1kw continuously for 10 hours (what in fact you will never do) you used 10khw and at the domestic price, it is 200kr, you pay 1500 for that. This is a real racket. For the facilities, there are correct but only 2 of them. Ok for a night touch and go, no more.

Terrain très agréable, commodités pas très propres, pas d'eau chaude bacs vaisselle extérieurs, salle commune très petite sans mode cuisson. Électricité trop chère.

Pretty nice campsite. 2 warmed showers, 4 toilets, 4 sinks, kitchen, laundry, camping card, near to the city, small lake and waterfall nearby, plenty space for tents also with natural (trees/hills) wind protection. The only downside was ducks woke us up in the morning ????

Pro: Spacious campsite with beautiful sceneries on surrounding mountains. Toilets and showers were good and warm. There was a small room to sit and eat.
Con: There were no kitchen facilities. The mutual room was dirty and the garbage bin was always full. There were camping guests cooking on gas stoves inside which seems not very safe.

Kleinerer, ruhiger Campingplatz mit süßem See nahe der Ringstraße.

- 1800 ISK p.P., Zahlung via Kreditkarte bei den Guards, die abends und vormittags vorbeigekommen sind
- kleiner Aufenthaltsraum mit Wasserkocher und Spüle, kein Herd / Kochplatte vorhanden
- Zwei sanitäre Anlagen, bei der einen kann ich den sauberen Zustand bestätigen; bei der anderen mussten die Haare der Camper der letzten Jahre erstmal aus dem Ausfluss gefischt werden

Schön gelegener Platz mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (Supermarkt, Apotheke, Sportfachgeschäft) Wir sind von Egilstadir mit den Fahrrädern gekommen. Platz ist sehr groß. 2 Wiesen, Schotter für Womos und daneben noch eine Wiese, die wir selbst als Zeltwiese erkannt haben. Sonst wenig Beschreibung, wie alles mit dem Einchecken läuft. Haben andere Camper gefragt. Die Verwalter kommen immer abends ab 18:00 Uhr zum abkassieren. Bar oder Kreditkarte. 3600 IKR für 2 Personen mit Zelt. Kamen aber auch erst 21:30 Uhr. Aufenthaltsraum ist sehr klein. Nur Wasserkocher. Waschmaschine mit Münzen. 4 Duschen und 4 Toiletten. Waren sauber.

Le côté sauvage du camping ,rien pour manger ou faire a manger a l abri ...2 douches et 2 toilettes .... superbe église en bois juste au dessus du camping
