Hay excursiones muy diferentes, desde una caminata de 2 horas por el glaciar hasta una jornada completa, desde una iniciación con cuerdas, piolet y crampones en Svínafellsjökull hasta la ascensión a Hvannadalshnúkur (de 10 a 15 horas de marcha) con vistas impresionantes. Hay para todos los gustos, y también se pueden practicar motos de nieve. Se pueden hacer excursiones desde Reikiavik, lo que resulta muy cómodo. No hay dificultades técnicas, pero se requiere una buena forma física.

Gulli, Thank you for the Awesome Experience today. You have found your calling. Great guide, knowledgeable, funny and patience. One day - ice cave at 2000 ft. and cruising on a Black sand beach. Priceless ????. Thanks Gulli!

Wir hatten 3,5 Stunden auf dem Gletscher, mit kompetenter und extrem netter Betreuung, die auf die Stärken und Schwächen der Teilnehmenden eingegangen ist. Es war eine spontane Entscheidung, trotzdem hatten wir eine wunderbare Tour mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und haben eine großartigen Erfahrung gemacht.
Würden es jedem jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Superb experience on the glacier thanks to the guides involved: from Ágúst who carried us around with the most friendly and professional approach, to the support team who made the caves accessible. We chose the 5 hours tour and it was definitely worth it as we were able to access three caves. Ágúst was also incredibly prepared on a number of topics related the glacier and the nature surrounding us: he topped of the experience. THANKS GUYS!

Booked in advance, arrived there as a group of 6, one of which was my pregnant wife. Everything went well until the guide started to get equipment ready for all of us and spotted my wifes belly. She asked her did she have a big breakfast!? Not sure was that ment to be funny or what but it was just plain retarded. Nevermind the stupid rudeness of the guide but my wife did explain her situation and the result of that was that she cant come. Appearantltly if you're more than 3months pregnant you cant come. We'll get a refund in about 2 weeks (also dumb to wait that long, if they can charge a card in a second they should refund in less than 2 weeks).
Their website doesnt state that information. We only came because my wife wanted to come.

Everyone else went on the glacier hike and had a nice time (thats why this rating is very generous with more than 1 star).
Oh, and the hike is super easy, its ridiculous they didnt allow us to go.

So stupid. Costs a lot. Update the fraking website with this policy to avoid this confusion.
Educate your guides about rudeness. Dont be lazy dumba**es. Very dumb experience overall.
