Basically an old hotel connected via a corridor to a new one.
Rooms are ok

Staff are very friendly, hotel and rooms are very nice. Had wedding reception at the restaurant and everything was delicious. Our group of 20 was very easily accommodated, and the service was excellent.

We had a very pleasant stay in Vik, the staff is lovely and the restaurant of the hotel is fine cuisine. Highly recommend staying here, or at least dining in. They have big and comfortable appartements for larger groups of people

We spent our first night in Iceland at Hotel Vik. After not sleeping overnight on the plane, this was exactly what we needed - a dark quiet room with a comfy bed. We slept for 12 hours and felt great the next morning. We were too tired to wait for the restaurant to open for dinner so we had a drink at happy hour and some bar snacks which were good. The lamb Bao buns were our favorite. The next morning, the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Large selection, amazing pastries. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!
