En verano el lugar es muy popular y se recomienda reservar con antelación. Hay cocinas, un comedor y habitaciones con televisión, puestos de Internet, wi-fi y una lavandería. También es una mina de oro para los folletos, el alquiler de bicicletas y las reservas de coches. También apreciará la ubicación junto a la piscina de Laugardalslaug.

Bad experience.
I made a mistake and tried to cancel the reservation after a few hours and asked for a refund. They just said that it was impossible and kept my money.

I read your answer. You know that I have already contacted you. There’s no sense for a non refundable booking. It’s easy to refund the credit card. Terrible customer service. I live far from Iceland and you know I can’t reschedule.
Lack of good will…
New customers have to know that. They don’t care about us.
One more day and no answer. Just kept the money.
Terrible customer service. Pay attention, they don’t respect our money.

Camping in Reykjavik is going to be expensive, we are paying double the amount we would pay for suburb campsites. However, the camping here has no Blackwater or grey water dump. Also, we have been here two nights now and no one has cleaned out the toilets and showers. They are disgusting. This is a campsite in Reykjavik, the capitol of Iceland and if I was an Icelandic sitizen I would be very ashamed that this is what we are showing to our foreign visitors. Please get this sorted so you don't get further very poor reviews on this site. Whoever is owner of this site is not advertising Iceland in its best light. Get your act together, you're very poor at this.

I can't understand how this campsite with so many reviews has 3.9 (last week it was 4.0) rate. After spending the night with our campervan in many campsites along the ring that has a rate of maximum 3.7, our expectations for Reykjavik Campsite was high...and much higher was our frustration at the end, unfortunately. It was the dirtiest one and the worst thing is that it was the most expensive one!! Unbelievable!
I would say it has a big potential: the check in was easy, kitchen and toilets are big enough for the amount of people they attend, but the toilets were not dirty, they were FILTHY. We arrived at night, tired, and had to deal with that. In the morning they were still FILTHY!! For that amount of guests, they should do the cleaning more times per day (for what we saw, they do it just once a day).
The kitchen was ok-ish, but 2 stoves were not working the next morning and people had to wait to use the ones that were working.
All in all, a big disappointment.

Ce camping est un dépotoir total. Les salles de bains étaient absolument dégoûtantes et n'avaient jamais de papier toilette. Je n’envisagerais même pas d’utiliser les douches ici. L'emplacement est génial mais c'est tout. C’est aussi très très cher vu l’état dans lequel il se trouve.
