Al abrigo de la multitud, podrá disfrutar de cada momento de su comida en Quaranta Ladroni (los cuarenta ladrones). Esta pequeña brasserie de barrio es tan atractiva por sus románticas mesitas con velas junto al canal como por su sencilla y sabrosa cocina de pescado. Puedes ver a los venecianos (los de verdad) aparcar sus barquitos para venir a cenar aquí. Y si tiene que esperar mucho tiempo para sentarse, es en el pequeño puente de al lado donde esperará, con una primera copa en la mano, contemplando este entorno intemporal. Tienes que admitir que hay cosas peores, ¿verdad?

This is my second visit to Osteria Ai 40 Ladroni. The first visit was in 2022, and both visits were highly enjoyable and memorable. They have THE BEST seafood I've ever had (in or out of Italy), and the atmosphere is wonderful! The food is extremely fresh and it is prepared and served very quickly. The employees are incredibly nice and genuinely welcoming. Eating here is an experience that truly feels like you are dining at a close friends home. I honestly can't say enough good things about this restaurant or it's staff. It is a little off the beaten path on the Venice isles but well worth the detour. If you are going to eat in Venice, please put this restaurant on your itinerary. You won't be disappointed and you will be very glad you did.

Visited this place around four times with my local relatives, we all speak italian and always had a great time. The food is really good and both sitting inside and by the canale was really nice.

But during myast visit, I visited with a foreign friend of mine, saldy it was a disaster! We spoke english together and the behaviour of the waiters towards us was horrific... They were rude and directly insulted us...
