El CAB20 es una instalación con pequeñas cabinas para dormir.
El CAB20, que abrirá sus puertas en julio de 2021, es un establecimiento totalmente nuevo con un concepto importado de Japón: se duerme en minúsculas cabinas de 3,7 m² para las individuales y de 6 m² para las dobles. Es un poco estrecho pero es más que suficiente si sólo duermes en él. Los aseos están en el rellano y las duchas en el sótano. Todo el lugar es moderno, muy limpio e incluso un poco futurista. En la3ª planta, una zona de estar le invita a relajarse con una terraza en la azotea. El concepto es único e incluso es el primer establecimiento de este tipo en Alemania

One of the cleanest hotels I've been to in a while!!
The staff are super friendly are nice, they are there 24h. Check-in is super quick and easy as well.
I personally got a single room on the upper floor, and as pictured it is a capsule hotel, so the rooms only have enough room for you to stand and change, not more room than that to walk around.
For me the size of the room was perfect because i travelled with a backpack only, but if you get a single room and you have a suitcase, you will not be able to open it without opening the door first and stepping out.
Bathroom and shower facilities on the bottom floor are huge, and the showers are very nice. There is also I think about three bathooms on every floor which makes it super convenient that you don't have to go downstairs to the -1 floor every time.
The location was something I saw a lot of people commented on. It is super central and you can walk practically anywhere in the city, or it's about 5-7 min walk to Hamburg central station, where you can take metro anywhere in the city.
HOWEVER, there are an insane amount of drug users around, and many homeless people. I personally recommend any women travelling alone to take the street of Steindham and make a left turn at the end to Danziger Str, and a left turn again to enter from the back of the hotel. DO NOT PASS THROUGH HANSAPLATZ AT NIGHT :). I got to the hotel latest at around 10pm and I was okay going this route to the hotel.
Steindham is a super busy street at almost all hours of the day, it is where all the Turkish restaurants/ shops are located, so it feels safer to have many people around.
The drug users and homeless people do not do anything and sort of mind their own business, and there are a lot of police around at all times, but its better to be safe than sorry :)
Overall though it is a really good hotel and I recommend it highly! There is nothing around central Hamburg that beats price/ quality :D

Sehr gut gelaunte Mitarbeiter.
Lage super um alles in Hamburg zu erreichen.
Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Schlafkabinen sorgen für erholsamen und ruhigen Schlaf.
Sehr zu empfehlen für jeden Hamburg Aufenthalt.

Sehr gutes Konzept, man merkt, dass man auf kleinem Raum total gut leben kann.
Auch die Gemeinschaftswaschräume sind eine super Idee, jeder hat einen kleinen duschraum für sich selbst und man hat duschgel & schampoo.
Alles ist sehr sauber und man bekommt stets neue Handtücher, wenn man sie benötigt an der 24/7 Rezeption.
Die Mitarbeiter sind stets gut gelaunt und super freundlich!
Wenn man etwas benötigt, kann man es sich an der lobby oder in einem Automaten bei den Duschen oder oben kaufen.
Alles ist sehr modern und sauber, würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Man sollte nur nicht zu viel Gepäck mitnehmen, da wenig Stauraum vorhanden ist.
Die Umgebung ist sehr zentral, nah am hbf und besonders abends super belebt. Nicht unbedingt positiv, jedoch fühlt man sich im Cab dafür umso sicherer.
Man hört überall entspannende Musik und kann auch sein Handy mit der Kabine verbinden. Besonders für hörbuch hörende sehr positiv.
Barzahlung ist nicht möglich.

A very novel concept, only 8 mins walking from the central station with tons of Middle Eastern and Asian stores/eateries nearby. Area/vibe of the area is not the bestest, at least we as female travelers didn’t feel the safest walking around in the evening. This place is 20 mins walking distance from the center. Rooms are super tiny, they end where they start, literally! There’s barely space for two people to fit in the little area in front of the bed but they are functional and good for a short stay, especially if one intends on spending most of their time outsides. Check-in happens promptly via the tablets at the reception. There’s always a staff member too. Bathrooms and toilets for all genders are at -1 level and there are toilets on every floor too. They give two towels and a bathrobe, along with pillows and duvet. Showers have hair and body wash (same liquid soap). Overall, the place is super clean, quiet and efficient. Considering the price point, location and amenities, it is a 100x better choice than a hostel, any day.
