Be carefull if you have outside quebec plates and park on the inns property , The police there issue parking tickets , We spent over a thousand dollars there , last weekend , no one told us about this scam , we got issued a ticket for 65.00 dollars for no reason we parked near the cabin and the owner of the inn , said its not his problem , weelk I will never ever stay there again . Nicolino Giardiono
Dropped by on a cold day (2024-03-11) for a warm beverage. The place was empty, only 3 tables had clients. We observed the wait staff in casual chit-chat behind the bar and after 15 minutes of no one attempting to take our order we decided to leave. On our way out the waitress, who never came to our table, asked if she could help us. Lol. Classic Wakefield style service...or lack thereof.
5 years later still amazing, incredible romantic getaway with beautiful surroundings, delicious food, peaceful and friendly professional and knowledgeable staff. Even beautiful artwork inside , visually incredible. Our room even had doors that open to bring in the fresh air and sunshine
A wonderful weekend getaway, specially in the spring with the waterfall running at full strength
Had a magnificent day yesterday and the room was beautiful. The staff .is warm and friendly. And the food was excellent and definitely coming back. ????????????
My husband and I took a (very) quick trip to Wakefield Mill for a late Valentine's celebration.
Booking the hotel was a breeze, we were encouraged to make any dining reservations right away, as they book-up fast, so I'm very glad I booked our breakfast reservation. I didn't make a dinner reservation, and asked at check-in if there was any availability for dinner on the off-chance they had a cancellation, and they were able to squeeze us in, which I was SO thrilled about. Dinner was great, the food and service was fantastic, and the drinks were ????????!
We stayed in one of the classic rooms - park, queen bed. We had a view of the water, which was beautiful. There was a Nespresso machine in the room with a small mini bar and snacks. The bottles of water were free, which was a bonus!
The bedding was absolutely dreamy! I normally find it hard to sleep away from home because of uncomfortable bed/linens/pillows, but we had no problems sleeping.
The next morning it was a sunny leisurely walk to breakfast, and we were served quickly with great food and a smile! We took a little walk around the property afterwards and the scenery is just lovely, a very old, century feel to the property !
Overall a fantastic stay, and we will definitely be back for a longer stay!!
Beauty spot. Stopped in for a beer and snack with family. Friendly helpful service, great atmosphere. Will be going back for dinner and more at some point.
