MANOIR HOVEY

New spa facility since 2023. Hotel still need to be renovated.

Our stay at Manoir Hovey was an exceptional way to begin a short romantic getaway in Quebec. A prior visit persuaded us to stay three nights this time. We now have family in Sherbrooke. This time we visited a Benedictine Abbey and enjoyed a new spa at Manoir Hovey.

Throughout our visit in early March, every staff member made us feel most welcome. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a covered balcony. We enjoyed three dinners and two breakfasts over three days. Food and beverage service was most exceptional: each dinner course was prepared to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of wonderful flavours. Breakfast was no less impressive, and was served at a relaxed pace. With some ice remaining on the lake, gardens remain dormant. With mild weather, fog on the lake and light mist, we enjoyed the warm spa and needed only to stand on the deck to cook off rather than to plunge into the much cooler 10 C pool. Prior to the outdoor pools, my partner enjoyed an indoor massage. Three days well spent: we can't wait to return!

We have been totally spoiled during this visit. The food in both restaurants was superb and if I could give six stars for service, I would. It is a bit out of the way but once you get here, you will love it! ????

Dans le style « auberge de luxe », c’est un sans faute. Les chiens sont acceptés dans certaines chambres. Service de chambre très bien. Jamais déçu quand on va au manoir.
L’hiver, très agréable de pouvoir pêcher sur la glace, avec des gens forts agréables.

Our stay was delightful, thanks to the courteous and helpful staff. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, complemented by a top-notch spa and amenities. The restaurant exceeded expectations. Rooms offer comfort, & stunning views.
