This is a wonderful hotel. Fabulous unique rooms, great service and calm delightful surroundings. Such a treat to stay here.

This is an extraordinary vacation destination. The food was absolutely first rate the breakfast were filled with signs of French and other superb European cuisine. The lunches were different every day and the dinners featured fresh fish and locally sourced, protein and vegetables. I've never been at a place with such great service and kind staff.the view from our room across the lake was divine. I recommend this extraordinary place with no reservations whatsoever.

The consierge, Mark, is an amazing host. In general, all the staff are courteous and geninune. Love the place.

Japanese toilets, feather pillows and nice sheets perfect the details.

A historic gem, a national treasure steeped in history. Everything is perfect—the warm reception from the staff, their helpfulness, the attention to the finest details, the restaurant ambience. Needless to say, the food, cocktails and wine are sublime. The rooms are comfortable with the most exquisite beds and sheets. The tranquility of the outdoor pool and hot tub perched over the lake in winter is the icing on the cake. One senses that the hotel staff love the building and the grounds as much as the guests do.
