Incredible service and variety of fabrics and styles. Rajesh in particular was excellent, allowing us to browse, think and try various options without trying to sell his product. Healthy negotiation with good deals. Highly recommended if you want good quality garments and non-intrusive service.
Went here on the suggestion of a friend. They sell at this location but are more of a wholesale with the workshop downstairs.
When we were there they had, among others, textile pillowcases, tablecloths, pyjamas, night robes, shawls, shirts, as well as textile and silk by the meter, which they can tailor.
We didn't check our the latter two because we wouldn't have the time for that. The clothing we haven't washed yet but they seem of decent quality to us and they also provide clothes for some European brands.
This is not the place to get the best bargain in town. They charge a pretty much fair price from what I can compare with the few similar no bargain type shops I've been, and that is the price. We paid roughly 1300 rupees for a longsleeve shirt, 1800 for a pyjama (includes a storage bag), and 650 for the silk shawl.
We always have a wonderful time visiting Heritage textiles when in Jaipur. They are great if you want items made, they have a large selection of fabrics. Also a very good tailor for suits ????????
Amazing place to buy really Jaipuri block print articles price were reasonable staff is very friendly they understand what exactly you want. Must visit place if you are going to Jaipur
Vijay helped us have 6 mens suits and several womens dresses made. We picked out the fabric, design and were measured. Then, miraculously, ALL the clothing was finished and ready for us in 3 days! Only one suit and one dress needed any further alterations -- which were done promptly and professionally. We are pleased with our new, fashionable clothes and the superb service we received.
I have been going to Heritage Textiles for 15 years and I highly recommend them. The tailoring is to the highest standard and there is a very wide choice of fabric. Their scarves too are particularly nice. A wonderful team to deal with and everything arrives on time which is not always the case elsewhere!
Stopped by early on our first day in Jaipur to get some shirts made, and was able to get them delivered to us the next evening with no issues. The shopkeeper was quite gregarious and personable—very enjoyable to talk to, and made us feel welcome. The prices are, I think, a little expensive for a wholesaler (probably equivalent to an American outlet mall, but tailored exactly to your size), but in our opinion it was absolutely worthwhile. Great variety of materials, styles, and options, loved the fast turnaround time, and our only regret was not ordering more clothing. If we ever find ourselves in Jaipur again, we will definitely be re-visiting.
The price given to foreigner are almost twice the local price. As I was interested in tailor made product, the seller was very pushy to sell me something tailored. I ended up buying something at a very high price which I didn't really like once I got it completed. It was really not what I was expecting in terms of style and I wish the seller had spend more time trying to undertand my need and showing me examples of final results rather than pushing me to buy more. I must however admit that the time of completion was very fast and the quality seems pretty good.
