Un lugar encantador e idílico paralos amantes del glamping y de la romántica y lujosa "slow life". Situado a orillas del lago Ihema, este íntimo alojamiento ecológico consta de nueve tiendas de safari totalmente equipadas, enclavadas en una vegetación virgen, muy separadas entre sí y unidas por una pasarela de madera sobre pilotes. Todas las tiendas tienen vistas al lago y el ambiente es de absoluta serenidad. El campamento funciona con energía solar y está vallado. Un lugar para conectar con uno mismo y con lo esencial.

You will be amazed by the staff’s service-orientation and kindness. Sunset breakfast is served at the lake (as the other meals) and is of great quality - allowing you to fully enjoy even raw ingredients and dairy products. Lunch boxes prepared with homemade wraps (hummus & chicken one approved ✔️).
You might want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper - to mute the magical jungle sounds at night.
Only minus is that stays in the North maximize chances on safaris better than those in the South of the park
auf diesem Weg möchten wir uns noch einmal ganz herzlich für die 4 wunderschönen Tage bei Euch bedanken.
Wenn eine Lodge 5* verdient hat, dann diese hier. Vom Personal, über das fantastische Essen, der Lage, dem Service und den Zelten. Wir hatten für 3 Nächte das "Tree Tops" Luxuszelt, dass wenn man hier ist, unserer Meinung sein Geld wert ist - für nur eine Nacht, wäre es zu schade.
Es war das Highlight unserer 3 wöchentigen Uganda/Ruanda Tour, keine andere Unterkunft bot das. Ein Traum in Afrika.
Wir würden auch keine Ganztagessafari empfehlen, der Park ist nicht so wie Kenia oder Tansania, aber dennoch schön. Mit Halbtagsauffahrten ist man gut beraten und hat noch Zeit, die Lodge zu genießen.
Wir waren zu 2 und haben uns dafür das Auto mit Fahrer und Guido gemietet, so konnten wir entscheiden wo es langgeht. Die Autos gibt's aber nur über die Parkverwaltung, alles online per Mail geregelt, hat super funktioniert.
