The menu says porcini mushrooms and not champignon as you see on the photos, we was hungry we wanted to eat something fast, at the end we said to the waiter that they was champignon instead of porcini as it is in the menu, the answer was "how you did you figure that" not a honest answer by the waiter that means they scam people with fake menu things, i answered that its not first time i eat mushrooms in my life, champignon and porcini have very big difference on the price and on the taste and how they look, if they dont have porcini they should tell it to people or change the menu and don't do this scammer things, it's not legal... Also the meat quality was poor and was not cooked as we asked, only the filet was medium-good quality and cooked as we asked..

Wonderful restaurant with great food and excellent service. We used it for a VIP group we had with our Tour Operator and they provided a wonderful experience. The owner (Marios) is extremely kind and accommodating with requests and needs that a large group requires and is always very attentive.
This is not a place for cheap groups, they provide great quality and don't work on "touristic group" budgets. It is a place for those who seek great service and food and don't put a low price as a priority.

Amazing Ambiente and food. Outside, you are sitting under pom grenade and lemon trees. The food was very well done and the staff very friendly.

Ενα εξαιρετικό Εστιατορειο στο Ρέθυμνο , με δυο εισόδους , μια από την οδό Εθνικών Αγωνιστών , που οδηγεί αρχικά σε εσωτερικό χώρο - Εστιατορειο , και μια δεύτερη , από την πλατεία Μικρασιατών , που οδηγεί άμεσα στο εξωτερικό πανέμορφο εστιατόριο , μέσα στις λεμονιές με πολύ καλη διαρρύθμιση , και ευγενέστατο προσωπικο. Τα πιάτα αρίστης ποιότητας , οι τιμές προς τα άνω , αλλα σε αποζημιώνει το περιβάλλον και η ποιότητα των γεύσεων

Hervorragendes Restaurant, etwas versteckt mit wunderschönem gemütlichen Garten. Ein Träumchen.
Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, das Dessert (Namelaka, Lemontart und das Panna Cotta vom Haus spendiert) war sehr sehr gut. Auch das Team war sehr freundlich und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :) vielen Dank!

Etwas edler, etwas teurer, aber jeden Cent wert. Sehr gutes Essen bei sehr schönem Ambiente unter Zitronen- und Granatapfelbäumen. Der Besuch krönt einen schönen Tag in Rethymno.

Wir sind aufgrund einer Empfehlung von Freunden dorthin gegangen. Das Essen war sehr geschmackvoll und es gibt eine gute Weinauswahl. Der Außenbereich ist wunderschön, man sitzt unter Bäumen.

We were super excited to try lemonokipos but, after we sat at our beautiful table surrounded by trees and garden the waitress came up and informed us that almost half of their main courses were out. We were let down, only had appetizers which let us down even more because the dakos, fried squid were delicious, we still missed out on all of the main dishes we wanted and were excited to try on our vacation. My recommendation is to call a little before your reservation to make sure they have the main courses you want to try.

Tender and bursting with flavour, it was artfully presented on a bed of fava sauce that complemented the taste impeccably. Words cannot adequately describe the sheer deliciousness of this culinary masterpiece.
Our main courses continued to enchant our taste buds. My wife's sea trout, grilled to perfection, melted in the mouth, imparting the subtle Mediterranean flavours of olive oil and lemon. As for my chicken, it was incredibly juicy, tender, and a true delight.
Of course, a great meal deserves an equally great beverage. The wine selection at Lemonokipos was nothing short of immaculate, elevating our dining experience to new heights.
The outstanding service and reasonable pricing only added to our delight. We had some of the best food we've ever eaten at this restaurant. We ate outside under lemon trees. Service would get a 5 if waiting staff did not congregate together between service near diners table.

Un restaurant adorable sous les citronniers
J'adore ce restaurant très prisé à Réthymnon, il y a une grande terrasse ombragée sous les citronniers permettant de déjeuner ou dîner en extérieur sans cuire en plein été. Il y a d'excellentes spécialités toujours cuisinées avec beaucoup de soin, et le quartier est quasiment piétonnier, il y a toute la ville historique pour se promener tout autour avant ou après avoir déjeuné ou dîné, et l'ancienne Mosquée à proximité sur la place, devenue un centre culturel, il me semble. J'adore Réthymnon, mais j'adore tout autant la Crète en général, Chania, Elafonissi, Kato Zakros, Mochlos, Sitia, il n'y a pas plus accueillants que les Crétois, et la Grèce en général

Après avoir déjeuner 2 fois la qualité et l accueil toujours au top . Salade grecque et calamars excellents bien cuisinés et savoureux . Établissement à conseiller . Est devenu notre cantine nous ne manquerons de faire d autres commentaires sur des plats différents

Côté assiette, c’était un véritable festival de saveurs ! Chaque plat mettait en valeur des produits frais, sublimés par une cuisine maîtrisée et créative. Mention spéciale au tarama blanc, au tartare de thon, au poulpe grillé et à l’incroyable tarte au citron — un vrai feu d’artifice gustatif !
Le service était exemplaire, rapide, professionnel et toujours de bon conseil, notamment pour le choix des vins. On ressent une vraie passion derrière chaque détail, de la présentation des plats à l’atmosphère générale du lieu.
Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe et particulièrement au patron pour cette belle expérience. Une adresse précieuse que je recommande les yeux fermés… et où je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !
