Hotel dentro del kastro con habitaciones rústicas y con encanto.

Este establecimiento lleva bien su nombre: es el único hotel situado dentro del kastro, la ciudad fortificada medieval de Chora. El primer hotel abierto en la isla en 1970, la casa ha pertenecido a la misma familia durante generaciones. Vertiginosas escaleras conducen a las habitaciones, rústicas y encantadoras, aunque estrechas. El romántico optará por la habitación R1, en el tejado: pequeña pero bonita, se abre a una terraza deslumbrante y a la cima del acantilado. Te sientes mareado, tus ojos quemados por la luz del sol y saturados con el azul del mar.

Very enjoyable stay. I was concerned the lack of AC would make it tough to sleep, but the ceiling fan was enough to bring cool air during the night. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Amazing welcome by the owner. She gently arranged our pickup from the port, and for our return.
Location by itself is unique and remarkable. Getting lost in Kastro streets is a postcard at every single steps you make.
If ever coming back to Folegandros, I would go back to this hotel.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, in der schönsten Nachbarschaft von Chora (sehr friedlich und entspannt). Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Aussicht, aber es war schön und sauber und das Bad/die Dusche im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in Griechenland relativ geräumig. Es hat eine allen zugängliche Dachterrasse mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf die Kapelle, das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang. (Aussicht war unbeschreiblich schön)

Loved my stay in Hotel Castro, the only hotel in old Castro. Rooms are simple and clean and the view from the roof is amazing. The hotel is managed by a very nice Greek family. I recommend this place for its authenticity and excellent location (at the heart of the old Castro and 200 m. From fhe bus station) .
