Hidden treasure on Hydra! The staffs are very friendly, creating a great atmosphere, and serving the best authentic local food. We spent most evenings there and noticed we weren't the only tourists booking a table for the next day before leaving. We will definitely revisit Hydra and spend more time with Dimitry and the team.

Good food at reasonable prices. Reservation recommended. All went well until half hour wait to get bill, after all waiters disappeared

Excellent Greek food in magical courtyard. Apart of offering tasty traditional dishes they offer fresh fish and meat on the grill. Sometime service as often fully booked.

Good good, nice environment. However they don’t inform you prior to dinner that they only accept cash. Oldest trick on the book and honestly very tacky.

A magical place - walking into the courtyard and sitting under the lemon tree feels like a fairytale. Delicious food. Definitely give them a call to reserve the day before you go, we tried to walk in on our first night and needed to rebook for the next day - it's popular!

The food here is fine. Ignoring that this place is quite disgusting, I observed the head waitress asking elderly people to walk to a cash machine to pay for their meal. You should note that if you insist to pay with card here the waiter will initially say the machine is broken, carry on resisting and suddenly it works .

For all foreigners please remember it is illegal for a restaurant in greece to try and make you pay cash without an itemized receipt. I refused to do this and finally one of the waiter punched my order through the register he did this with great hesitancy. Because this is the scam this place runs.

Irrespective of the food, please insist on a receipt and don't back down a hand written bit of paper is not a receipt and this is illegal in greece, know your rights and ignore the selfish ingnorrant staff working here.

Locale aperto solo alla sera in uno splendido giardino raccolto, coperto da belle piante di limoni. Pochi tavoli per questo motivo è consigliabile prenotare. Deliziosi il polipo, le polpette con le zucchine ed il souvlaki. È possibile pagare anche con la carta

Lo stufato di agnello sembrava lessato, i peperoni erano super acidi, lo spiedo di pollo cotto male e scarso.

Το μαγαζί βρίσκεται σε μία πολύ ωραία, ήσυχη αυλή. Το φαγητό ήταν εξαιρετικό, ίσως η καλύτερη φάβα που έχουμε φάει και το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό. Επίσης το καλαμάρι ήταν φρέσκο, μαλακό και νοστιμότατο. Δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα με πληρωμή με κάρτα.

Un luogo magico, in cui assaporare la Grecia autentica.
Ottima qualità del cibo, giardino fantastico nel cuore della città, tipica accoglienza mediterranea.

A very nice Greek tavern situated in a beautiful garden. Make sure to book a table. We had very nice fried shrimps and ntolmades, amongst others.

This joke about "the POS not working" needs to end at some point. It is also very rude to lie to your clients' face as having gone through the other comments, it is probably a standard practice that they don't accept card payments. Of course we were also informed at the end and not the beginning of our dinner. It is the restaurants' obligation to have a POS. The only reason we decided to pay was because the food was good and we didn't want waste our time getting into such discussions with the owner.

Ένα καταπληκτικό παραδοσιακο μαγαζι.
Βρισκεται σε μια παρ πολύ ωραία αυλή ενός σπιτιού. Πεντακάθαρο με εξαιρετικό φαγητό και πάρα πολύ ευγενικό προσωπικό. Ότι φάγαμε ήταν τέλειο. Ήσυχο μέρος. Για βράδυ θέλει κράτηση. Ο Γιώργος που δουλεύει εκεί καταπληκτικό παιδί και να μας εξυπηρετήσει και με το παραπάνω.

Prezzi bassi per Hydra! Qualità del cibo discreta ma niente di più ! Simpatico cenare sotto un grosso albero di limoni! Si vive la vera Grecia in questo locale ! Non fanno la ricevuta e non mi hanno preso la carta di credito !
