Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The location is convenient on the Grand Place. I had the chef's suggestion with a mystery beer. The dish and the beer were amazing.

excellente cuisine! un vrai coup de coeur
Située à deux pas de la Grand-Place, la Brasserie Ommegang allie décor historique, ambiance chaleureuse et service souriant. On y déguste une cuisine belge généreuse, 100 % maison, avec un coup de cœur particulier pour la carbonnade primée et les moules flambées au cognac. Large choix de bières et terrasse agréable. Un incontournable à Bruxelles !

Ik kwam hier omdat het me goed uitkwam na een lange dag rondlopen. Ik heb gegeten, maar ik was wat vroeg. Het was dus niet zo druk als toen ik vertrok. Het is weliswaar toeristisch, maar het eten was heerlijk. De biefstuk was perfect gebakken (althans, voor mij). De bediening was goed en efficiënt. Ik was erg tevreden met mijn maaltijd. Ik was niet teleurgesteld en ik kan het zeker aanbevelen.

It's very close to Brussels' Grand Palace...
It's very close to Brussels' Grand Palace (Square), just a little further back. I recommend trying the fish for anyone who visits. They make a variety of fish dishes, and they were delicious. The kids had the Cheeseburger, and they loved it. The food and presentation were excellent. The portions were very generous. The waiters only ask for a tip of around 10% when paying the bill, which I think is excessive, but I had to pay it anyway. Four people, including tip, paid 120 euros.

Our experience today was very satisfying. Without a reservation, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the welcome and service. The dishes, in addition to being delicious, were particularly generous. We highly recommend this establishment.

De passage à Bruxelles, je suis tombé par hasard sur la Brasserie Ommegang… et quelle belle surprise ! Accueil chaleureux, déco conviviale, et surtout une cuisine savoureuse et généreuse. J’ai goûté leur fameuse carbonnade (récompensée !) : un délice. Une adresse où l’on se sent bien, et où je reviendrai à coup sûr.

Nombreux choix à la carte. Certains plats étaient hors budget pour moi, mais très bons compromis pour les plats typiquement belges de type carbonades flamandes, boulets au sirop de Liège, .... Plats très bien cuisinés, bons et copieux. Beau choix de bières. Personnel très aimable. Cadre original et très "bruxellois" en lien avec le cortège de l'Ommegang. Idéalement situé par rapport à la Grand'Place.

Nous avions réservé depuis 1 semaine via Thefork et le restaurant n'avait pas notre réservation ! Nous étions un groupe de 10 et on a eu de la chance qu'ils nous trouvent une table. Merci de vérifier de votre côté !

Trop cher pour ce que c’est ! Le vin de la maison « supérieur « à 30€ le demi est un peu abusé ! Les plats corrects sans plus.
