Fabulous! Beautiful old house, perfect location and such a warm welcome! We had room #1 with 2 queens and it's huge! High ceilings and gorgeous colorful décor everywhere. Extremely walkable - we did not get a car, nor would I recommend one. Pool is perfect and quiet - exactly as pictured. Doors are old and don't always want to close, bathrooms are small - these didn't bother us at all but rather added to the charm. Loved breakfast on the porch and the free beverages all day. If you want an oasis of charm and color, stay here! Highly recommend.
From the moment you reach Marrero's you become like family. Wonderful staff. Impeccably clean rooms and grounds. Fluffy locally sourced breakfast pastries and great coffee. Available parking. The very relaxing salt water pool is a real gem! Within easy walking distance of a lot to see and do. One half block from Duval St. And the bed.... room 12 was where we stayed and the bed was quite possibly the best bed I've ever experienced! This is a very reasonably priced place to stay and we WILL be coming back
Location of Marrero's is probably the first reason to stay there while visiting Key West. The mansion is walking distance to absolutely everything but somehow feels really private, cozy and is rather quiet at night, despite being a street over from rowdy bars and restaurants. It's also a stunning historical gem that's well cared for and designed with a playful, modern touch. The pool area and landscape are dreamy. Staff is very kind and easy going. They feel like old friends. My vacation brain simply forgot to check out at 11 am, and the ladies were generous and very sweet, reminding me Ina friendly manner and giving me time to pack up. I met people who have come 7 years in a row to Marrero's and consider it their perfect vacation spot.
Wonderful stay in a very historic home adjacent to all things that make Key West a beautiful destination. Would highly recommend Marrero's guest mansion.
My fiancé and I loved our time at Marrero's! The free breakfast exceeded expectations, the stocked cooler and happy hour were a fun addition. The home and pool area were clean and cozy, and although there are multiple rooms with other guests, we felt that we had a good amount of privacy and comfort. Of course, the central location close to Duval was awesome too. We will definitely consider staying there again in the future. We'd like to give a huge thank you to the super friendly hosts and staff!
Hi we are not complainers so I do not do a public posts or reviews often but maybe my feedback will help the next traveler. Great location but For $800 plus a night we expected much more. I even went with the more expensive room. That's actually more then the Langham in London.

The towels to shower in were like at the YMCA small & scratchy and that color grey that used to be white 10 yrs ago. Reminded me of middle school. The pillows were so wide and firm we could not sleep.
The tiny single use size shower gel and shampoo were not enough for two people to shower more than one my wife didn’t even shower the next morning as the shower was too slippery and no water pressure. With a old shower curtain that leaked All over the bathroom floor. It was one of those Home depot showers slippery plastic floor and curtains. I thought I was in a Hostel like when i backpacked in Europe as a kid.
Your website made it seem like there was a bar and happy hour specials not a bar pushed up against the wall in the lobby and a small fridge with a note for you to take what you want and a pen to write down what you took
Your complimentary continental breakfast was on top of the bar in labeled plastic bins labeled with a six year old's label maker like a motel 6 but not quite as nice as motel 6
We stay at nice hotels all over the world when we travel. It’s the little things that count when you’re spending a lot on accommodation. You missed on most all of them. If your only concerned about location this is your spot. If your used to a higher end accommodation stay at the Gardens Inn.
We loved our stay at Marrero’s guest mansion - my photo does not do it justice. The heated pool, private balconies, simple yet delicious breakfast and wonderful staff made this a pleasant boutique hotel experience. The location is excellent and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Key West. So romantic ????
My only two small recommendations for the future for an even better stay ????:
1. The shampoo/conditioner bottles were really difficult to use and squeeze liquids out of. I’d rather use refillable larger containers than these small plastic bottles.
2. Our bathroom door did not close and some of the hardware in the bathroom was coming loose. The shower pan only had a curtain divider and water would get out when we shower.
Location was A+. Amenities A+. Room A+. Pool A+. Staff A+. They accommodated an early check in for us and held our bags after we checked out until our late flight. The breakfast, happy hour and honor bar was a great touch. Appreciated the free waters as well. Will be returning!
Staff were wonderful. Bed was comfortable. The pool is beautiful. The location is almost impossible to beat - it's close to food, shopping, tourist activities - EVERYTHING. You can rent a bike or scooter down the street... it's really a wonderful place. I hope we can go back soon!
Marrero's Guest House is very colorful and comfortable and offers all of the amenities that one would expect, what puts it over the top is the ladies that man the front desk. They are cheerful, conversational and helpful and make your visit very enjoyable.
Put it on your bucket list folks!

Right near Duval without the noise, and steps to the Duval bus loop.
