Encantador B&B en una mansión victoriana cerca del centro de Orlando y de Winter Park con acogedoras habitaciones con vistas al lago

A diez minutos del centro de Orlando y muy cerca de Winter Park, este encantador B&B se encuentra en una mansión victoriana construida en 1885 en el corazón de un vasto jardín. Ofrece 3 habitaciones acogedoras e íntimas, una de ellas con vistas al lago. Cada mañana, en el comedor, le servirán un delicioso desayuno casero compuesto por platos de huevos cocinados según el humor del día, bollería y fruta fresca. Los propietarios, Carole y Joe, son muy amables y estarán encantados de charlar con usted. Un remanso de paz.

My son lives at Lake Lily apts. and this is the ONLY place I will stay when I visit from now on! Beverly, the most kind compassionate host ever, showed me the nicest 25 minute walk around the neighboring lakes right to his apartment. My entire stay was amazing! There is Nothing I would change. Glad to have found my new home away from home in FLA!!

Exceptionally clean guest rooms with ample space; owner likes to cook and bake and the breakfasts showcase this skill; nice view of the lake and close to intown dining.

What a wonderful B&B! We enjoyed our stay so much. Beverly is an awesome host and her breakfast was over the top delicious! The house, built in 1885, is lovingly restored and well maintained along with the expansive garden grounds around the house and lake, perfect for walks and sitting in the double swing chair. And what a great view of the lake from the large porch too. The guest room is comfortable as is the bed. Total relaxation awaits you if you stay here! The best part of the experience is the location which is tucked away from the noise and traffic of the suburban sprawl and businesses of Maitland, Winter Park, and Eatonville. So glad the Thurston House remains after all these years to welcome guests to the peace and natural setting that was once the entire area of central Florida - this is a real taste of the past!

My husband I stayed at the Thurston House this past weekend and were blown away by Beverly’s hospitality, the absolutely impeccable cleanliness of the home and guest rooms, and the very delicious breakfast. Beverly has thoughtful little touches such as fresh baked goods and fruit available for the taking anytime. While there it was quite chilly and we so appreciated the availability of fresh coffee or tea at all times to keep us warm. And she always came through with great restaurant recommendations, such as Jazz Tastings. We enjoyed an evening of fabulous, live entertainment, dancing, spirits and great food. Our only regret is that we did not discover this hidden gem years ago as we’ve coming to the area regularly to visit our son attending university nearby. We’ll be back soon and looking forward to.

Amazing! what a peaceful B&B getaway, just what we needed. Beverly is a fantastic hostess and all the food was very yummy and beautiful presentation!!! Enjoyed the rocking chair on the porch, with a nice breeze and the hammock upstairs was delightful, what beautiful garden areas and my very favorite camphor tree what a great photo spot or even a couples wedding spot. Felt right at home ???? we will definitely be back! Just outside of Orlando in central Florida.
