Encantador B&B en una mansión victoriana cerca del centro de Orlando y de Winter Park con acogedoras habitaciones con vistas al lago

A diez minutos del centro de Orlando y muy cerca de Winter Park, este encantador B&B se encuentra en una mansión victoriana construida en 1885 en el corazón de un vasto jardín. Ofrece 3 habitaciones acogedoras e íntimas, una de ellas con vistas al lago. Cada mañana, en el comedor, le servirán un delicioso desayuno casero compuesto por platos de huevos cocinados según el humor del día, bollería y fruta fresca. Los propietarios, Carole y Joe, son muy amables y estarán encantados de charlar con usted. Un remanso de paz.

Thurston House is a treasure!!! Beverly, the owner, is kind and very accommodating. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and makes you feel very "at home". There are amazing snacks and coffee/tea bar at all times and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The space surrounding the home was well kept and a gorgeous array of flowers, plants, bushes, trees, with a lake view and trail surrounding the lake. We will 100% be going back to Thurston House!

The house was beautiful and immaculate. Very peaceful location and the host, Beverly was very attentive and willing to please. Her cooking was amazing as well. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for an alternative to a hotel or just looking for that special get away weekend.

Thurston House is a must for B&B visitors! Beverly makes the most delicious breakfasts with a gourmet flair. It is a delightful, historical house kept immaculately clean, yet it has that touch of home which improves any stay. It has ironed sheets, adorable patios, a hammock, and even a Tesla charger.

Five stars for the room, the service and the location! And, if I had one more I’d use six stars to describe the breakfasts!
We really had a delightful stay with our host Beverly at the Thurston House. We have a lovely room (the O’Heir Suite). Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and en suite. Very quiet. Flooded with sunlight in the mornings. And, bonus, the “sleeping porch” was adjacent to our room. I spent many hours rocking lazily in the Pawley’s Island hammock sipping some delicious Scotch and reading.
The service was perfect. Beverly has thought of everything. She was never more than a text away when we had a question. And, she’s a great cook! The breakfasts were bountiful and delicious!
It was just dumb luck but we happened to be visiting during the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. Quite the affair! A juried festival, they invite more than 250 artists and welcome 350,000 visitors over three days. The Thurston House is so convenient to Winter Park. Less than four miles away. Or fellow B&B guest were able to give us some valuable tips regarding parking and Beverly made some wonderful suggestions for restaurants!
We will definitely be visiting the Thurston House again!!

Thurston House is the first bed and breakfast that my wife and I have stayed in since selling our own bed and breakfast in 2018 after 20 years. We were so incredibly impressed and delighted by every aspect of this lovely Inn. Beverly is a wonderful host, the room we stayed in was immaculately clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The house and grounds were just beautiful.
We can be challenging guests because of food issues, but Beverly met those challenges with the utmost care and served us a wonderful hearty breakfast. My wife and I have very high standards after running a very upscale inn, but I would place the Thurston House right next to ours in how we view how an Inn should be run. As I told Beverly, The Thurston House does nothing wrong and does everything right in our book. We cannot praise Beverly and Thurston House too high
