Per imago 5 stelle sono poche!!! È un ristorante fantastico , location unica , ci hanno riservato un tavolo proprio davanti la vetrata dalla quale abbiamo goduto di un tramonto bellissimo su Roma. Servizio attento e impeccabile e piatti unici dagli accostamenti gourmet.Ci è stato regalato dai nostri figli ... ma ci torneremo sicuramente

Esperienza culinaria fantastica presso questo ristorante stellato che, a dire il vero, meriterebbe un’ulteriore stella per come abbiamo mangiato: ovviamente benissimo! Magnifica la vista. Personale di sala squisito. A cena le luci riflettono sulle vetrate facendo perdere un po’ la bellezza del panorama ma ci hanno confermato che stanno lavorando per risolvere questa piccola pecca.

A Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of Rome, and well deserved. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all needs. Of course, with it being a fine dining establishment, the prices will reflect that, but it was a wonderful place with excellent coffee and service.

The view is great, but everything else is unbelievable garbage. Dishes are seemingly selected purely for the sake of sounding special, while the taste - ranging from bland to revolting - remains an afterthought. Staff do not understand the word "vegetarian" and assume it includes caviar. A plain small pear somehow managed to be the highlight of the triple-digit-cost menu - perhaps also because it heralded finally heading to the exit, away from this restaurant and its staff that are stuck so far up themselves that they've forgotten what food is.

Location molto romantica ed intima, servizio da parte dei camerieri ottimo, i piatti erano buoni, tenendo conto solo di questi fattori avrei sicuramente lasciato una recensione da 5 stelle, ma la premessa iniziale non è stata delle migliori e spiego subito il perché.
Dopo ben due ore di strada, imbottigliati nel traffico di Roma, ci accorgiamo che avremmo fatto del ritardo purtroppo, cerco quindi di contattare telefonicamente il ristorante per avvisare in anticipo del nostro ritardo, ma le prime due telefonate non ricevono risposta, dopo qualche minuto effettuo la terza telefonata in cui dico che avremmo fatto del ritardo (ci tengo a specificare che sull’e-mail di prenotazione era ben definito il fatto che OLTRE i 30 minuti di ritardo la prenotazione poteva essere “disdetta” da parte loro), in quest’ultima telefonata vado quindi a spiegare che saremmo arrivati anziché alle 20:30 alle 20:50, la loro cordialissima risposta è stata che siamo molto in ritardo, dicendo anche “dovevate essere qui un quarto d’ora fa “ e concludendo la conversazione che dovevamo cercare di arrivare entro le 21:00.
Ora io capisco tutto, ma per strada esistono gli imprevisti, non è possibile che mi devo subire come una “sgridata” perché ho fatto del ritardo che era ammissibile, perché 30 minuti erano concessi!
Quindi la cena non è partita nel migliore dei modi, da parte mia c’era una situazione di tensione, che poi per fortuna, con la cordialità dei camerieri è completamente passata.
Ma dato l’inizio non me la sento in alcun modo di lasciare 5 stelle, non si tratta così al telefono un commensale che sta venendo lì per passare una piacevole serata in modo rilassato, perché ci siamo sentiti di dover fare le corse per cercare di star lì prima delle 21:00… non stavamo andando a lavorare, stavamo andando a cenare.
Ci tengo a precisare che partivamo da Latina, lontani solo 50 km dal ristorante, percorso che normalmente ci mettiamo 1h 10/20 minuti per arrivare in zona villa borghese, ma sottolineo, a causa del traffico e di un incidente ci è voluto molto di più!
Concludo dicendo che il ristorante è buono, il servizio è ottimo, ma visto come è iniziato personalmente non saprei se ci tornerei, sono stata davvero in molti stellati e mai successa una cosa simile.

It was an ok restaurant but given the level of taste you get in a random side street restaurant in Rome, the taste was underwhelming. The service and the setting was good though.

EMOZIONANTE! ti lascia senza parole..vista pazzesca su tutta Roma..il ristorante si trova nell'hotel sopra la scalinata di piazza di Spagna.. cucina con 1 stella michelin(per ora,perche ne merita 2 a mio parere) il posto piu bello dove sono stato a mangiare.

Fantastic experience

Underrated. What a meal! Great location overlooking the city. I had the seasonal white truffle menu, and frankly, it was plain amazing. The Alba truffle was about the highest quality I've ever smelled and eaten, and every single one of the dishes was crafted and executed to perfection. The chef made sure the white gold was not just an expensive supplement but truly added to the taste profiles of every individual dish. So much fabulous complexity! The Barolo pairing with a vintage Dom Perignon (!) accompanying the starter was a brilliant recommendation by the sommelier. Overall, the staff was very attentive, friendly, personal, and perfectly trained. I am seriously clueless as to why this place only has one star. Highly recommended!

Where to start. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent. My party and I did the Imágo X fall/winter menu. It was very veggie forward but did not disappoint.

Servizio attentissimo ad ogni dettaglio e ogni esigenza del cliente, ma anche con un tocco di simpatia che fa sempre bene.
Menu degustazione Imagò n. 9 è probabilmente tra i migliori provati. Le idee proposte sono geniali; piatti eleganti, gustosi ma assolutamente delicati, un crescendo di esplosioni di sapori difficile da spiegare se non si prova.
Perciò provare per credere.

3 rd time dining here and each time we got the best top notch service. The view from this restaurant is amazing. We were there before sunset and got to enjoy a 7 course menu. From food to service everything was impeccable.

Matre d advised he had no reservation for us and basically escorted us out to another resturant in building after being told by roberto at front desk we had a reservation my wife and i were dressed fir this soecial occasion and treated so poorly my wife was embarrassed this man should not be allowed to run any resturant he diesnt know how to interact with people he believes he is above all

My wife and I ate at Imago for our anniversary while on a trip to Rome. We both ordered the chef's tasting menu and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The location and view were wonderful. The service was absolutely top notch, attentive without being invasive. The sommelier in particular was fantastic at helping us choose a bottle of wine suited to our taste and the food being served. The food itself was incredible, so many different preparations and techniques combined together. All in all just an absolutely wonderful place to eat.

Cenare da Imago è sempre un’esperienza totalmente appagante. Il panorama è fiabesco e il servizio impeccabile ma è la cucina la protagonista assoluta. Sapori straordinari, tecnica stupefacente e la migliore sintesi fra gusto e innovazione che si possa immaginare.
