Hotel con habitaciones muy bonitas y totalmente equipadas, las de las plantas 7ª y 8ª tienen balcones
En ocho plantas, el NH Nacional mantiene los altos estándares de la cadena NH Hoteles. Todas las habitaciones son muy agradables y están perfectamente equipadas. En las plantas séptima y octava tienen incluso balcones y la vista es increíble. El hotel está situado cerca de la estación de tren de Atocha (a sólo 150 metros), del Parque del Retiro y de los famosos museos del Paseo del Arte. En resumen, el lugar es ideal para combinar la cultura durante el día con largas noches de fiesta. El desayuno es excelente. Una dirección muy agradable en la capital.

Some reasons with the low star rating is due to the specific room they called an upgrade. The room had a great 180 view of the corner and was spacious, but because the room's windows were not sealed properly we heard every single commuter and tourist from five stories above. If the room had better sound proof I think our two nights stay would have been improved. When we inspected the windows, we noticed that the far right panel (which had the worst noise level as though the window was ajar the entire stay) had improvised foam to minimize noise. After seeing this it was obvious that they have encountered this situation and attempted to alleviate with a quick remedy. It is disappointing that the hotel still sold the room as an "upgrade" when the stay was closer to feeling downgraded.
Overall we enjoyed how clean the hotel is, that it was in close proximity to the transit, and parks. But instead, the additional upgrade was actually more than you've listed and was the most noisy stay during our vacation.
