Situado en una casa victoriana de la década de 1830, este moderno hotel boutique situado cerca del Teatro Manoel seducirá a los amantes de la piedra antigua y de una atmósfera artística e íntima, cada habitación con vistas a un patio interior donde no se puede oír un gato. Los hermanos Ellul confiaron su transformación al arquitecto Chris Briffa, quien diseñó cada una de las nueve suites en elegantes tonos blanco negro y antracita. En el suelo, mosaicos gráficos, en las paredes, una exposición de pinturas de la artista maltesa contemporánea Mallia, que nos hace redescubrir La Valeta en tonos llamativos. Algunos tienen techos altos, muebles característicos y baños lujosos con bonitos lavabos y magníficos baños independientes. Las habitaciones de la planta superior son más futuristas, con paredes de hormigón bruto y mobiliario contemporáneo de líneas elegantes, cada una con una terraza con vistas a la ciudad. Una calurosa acogida por parte del equipo, atento a las exigencias de sus clientes. Un establecimiento muy popular.
Un consejo inteligente: no dude en comprobar la disponibilidad de habitaciones día a día y reservar su estancia en varias suites. El personal se encargará de todo para que usted viaje entre pisos sin que usted se dé cuenta!

Everyone- and I mean EVERYONE that works here- is unbelievably kind and friendly and they are all very eager to help.
Malta is a beautiful destination anyway but the people that work at this hotel made our trip so much better. From making arrangements at the local gym nearby (so we could get day passes there) to making last minute dinner reservations, they really went out of their way to help us. Highly recommended!
Great small hotel with just a few rooms, all furnished in a special and modern way, which is an exciting contrast to the old building. The most striking element is certainly the terrace of two suites with a view of the dome of the church opposite, which seems to tower just an arm's length away, incredibly impressive. The only negative is that the furniture and cushions on the roof top terrace could not be used since they were wet and mouldy and had pigeon dirt. The rooms except for the 2 rooftop suites are way too loud due to the noise and acoustics on the street and the windows which do not close.
