We had a blast here! Service is stellar! We forgot a toothbrush and they provided immediately and brought to our room! On a rainy night this was so helpful! The room was awesome and the jacuzzi was hot, the whole place is immaculate!
My husband and I believe the bad reviews here are from local competitors. We have both worked in high end hospitality for decades and can attest this team and hotel are 10/10! Oliver at the front desk was especially sweet!

Flamingo hotel is almost no not almost is a landmark of Santa Rosa and has been here for over 60 years I remember this motel when I was 6 years old and when there was two gas stations on the corners they even had a gas war and gasoline got down to 19 cents a gallon that'll make y'all cry anyways this landmark hotel flamingo has been here for very long time has always been a very high class motel and my grandmother even worked there for 30 40 years Dorothy M. I'm very slight woman but one heck of a hard worker was a maid for room service and was a wonderful person and loved her job there and loved the people they have a very nice bar very high class restaurant and of course very nice rooms visit them whenever you visit our wonderful town of Santa Rosa and have a wonderful day

Overall I enjoyed my time at the Flamingo. I was here on a work trip in the winter for four nights during the week, so your results may differ in the summer and on weekends.
PROS:
Very nice looking property. Despite being next to a busy arterial road, you do not hear any noise from it and the interior of the hotel gives you the feeling of an oasis escape.
The heated pool was nice - I enjoyed a morning swim each day when it was 10-15°C (50-60°F) out and did not feel too cold. The heated lamps in the lazeaway club made it a comfortable place to lounge with just a sweater/light jacket during my winter stay.
I appreciated the headboard in the room with ample charging and places to put things. Service was good while we were there, with friendly staff. I liked the toiletries in the bathroom and that I was given plenty of towels.
CONS:
Walls were thin between bedrooms. I was fine with my earplugs in, but lots of random noises without them. Lots of light coming into the room under the door (I was able to block it with a towel). Various other random lights in room from phone and something on the ceiling. The sink had a chunk missing from the porcelain, although it did appear otherwise clean.
I was pretty happy here and wanted to give 5 stars, but ultimately needed to deduct one for the room issues
