Esta taquería mexicana es una auténtica delicia, ya que maneja el arte de los tacos, burritos y otras delicias mexicanas... pero sólo con verduras: es totalmente vegana. Sirve especialidades como el filete vegetariano "imposible", que imita muy bien a la carne, así como platos a base de alubias negras, patatas y garbanzos. Uno esperaría platos sosos, pero todo está sabroso y perfectamente equilibrado. Los precios son razonables y el servicio rápido: es un buen lugar para parar a comer en Oakland.

Vegan or not, you simply must eat these tacos. Went for the first time yesterday and I’m already planning a return visit. Straight into my top 5 fave restaurants in Berkeley.

Incredible! I love veggies but I have beef with vegan places that try and reformat them into meat in a way that feels forced or contrived. Taqueria La Venganza is able to inject so much flavor into these vegan tacos and absolutely nail the texture that no one would miss a thing. It still has that greasy richness of a street taco, absorbed by some delicious tortillas and perfectly rounded out by fresh salsa and toppings. These were fire. Filling and substantial. The beans were delicious and the guacamole, though a small portion, was great. The guacamole was affordable but more like 1 serving so a heads up if you’re trying to share ;)

Order came out really quick, we ordered online and it was ready in 10min. There is one small table and 2 chairs but the vibe is definitely more grab and go. I love that they partner with White Horse a few doors down too. You can show your receipt there and get a discount on a drink. You can also eat your meal there, but only if you buy a drink which you totally should, White Horse is awesome.

Loved this spot, I feel lucky to live close and I’ll be back for sure! Veggies and vegan friends will LOVE this. So will my omnivore friends too. ????????????????????????️????

The best tacos I've ever had. That includes tacos I had before I became vegetarian. That includes tacos in LA - even in MEXICO ????????!! They are that good. The burritos are great, too.

My first time trying this place and it definitely didn’t disappoint. hellaa good , not to mention my burrito was massive . legit massive like enough for lunch , some for dinner and then some.

I love Taqueria La Venganza ???? I have been eating here about once a month for the past year. I really love their Asada and Al Pastor burritos so I always get the same thing but I bet all the options are so delicious. I met the owner a few times and I think he’s really nice and obviously passionate about vegan Mexican food! I’ve been to Mexico City 3 times which by far has the best vegan Mexican food in the entire world (in my humble opinion) and honestly Taqueria La Venganza compares to my fav restaurants there! Take your non vegan friends/family there, I promise they will love it!
