Grandes y ventiladas «safari suites» con una decoración muy cuidada, mesas a pocos metros del Nilo, un confortable lounge, una refrescante piscina, un personal amable, una fauna omnipresente y el uso de energías renovables: si hay todo esto es que se encuentra en Baker's Lodge, uno de los establecimientos más distinguidos del Parque Nacional de las Cataratas Murchison. Las selectas cabañas se encuentran en la orilla izquierda del río, a unos cuantos kilómetros al suroeste del ferri de Paraa.

Das Camp ist traumhaft innerhalb des Nationalparks am Fluss gelegen. Die Zelte sind sehr schön, geräumig und sehr sauber. In der Nacht kommt von den vielen Geräuschen der Tiere richtiges Wildlife Feeling auf. Das Essen ist eine Klasse für sich und angerichtet wie in der Sterneküche. Aber das Beste von Allem war der Staff, freundlich und zuvorkommend hat man versucht uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abzulesen. Die Tierwelt Afrikas auf den Gamedrives war wunderbar. Auf unserer zweiwöchigen Rundreise haben wir uns hier am besten aufgehoben gefühlt.

We adored our stay at this lodge and would definitely go back and for longer. It is the true definition of “glamping” in my opinion. We loved the room, the shower, the fact that Buffalo were outside our room, the breakfast buffet and the attentive warm staff. Highly recommended.

Lions are undoubtedly the laziest of all the big cats, and have been known to sleep for between 16 and 20 hours every day. They generally tend to be most active after dusk with bursts of activity taking place until dawn, when hunting most frequently occurs.

Lodge super cool, super ambiance, surtout le lobby/espace restaurant, tables joliment dressées, feu de camp, bougies au dîner. Nourriture très bonne, grand choix de vins, personnel très sympathique et serviable !!! Les animaux entrent dans l'établissement. Salle de bain entièrement équipée avec tous les articles de toilette, peignoir, dont spray anti-insectes + moustiquaire. Je me souviendrai certainement du lodge.

The food here was some of the best I have eaten anywhere in the world, let alone in the middle of the African bush. Similarly, the service here was better than some 5* hotels I've stayed in across the globe. The manager of the hotel exuded a positive energy that just immediately made you feel comfortable, and his staff were dedicated to providing a good experience.
Ishasha Wilderness Camp was a kind of special I will never forget.
