Hotel encantador con habitaciones confortables y un restaurante, el mejor de Fort Portal, una buena dirección.

El Dutchess no solo es el mejor restaurante de Fort Portal, también es un hotel encantador con cinco habitaciones: tres «de lujo», coloridas, cómodas y bien equipadas, y una «semi-lujo» triple (con el baño y la ducha separados). Como delatan los llaveros en forma de zueco, los asientos de los inodoros decorados con tulipanes y los molinos de viento que recubren las paredes del cuarto de baño, los propietarios del Dutchess son dos simpáticos holandeses, Michel y Heleen. Un establecimiento muy agradable.

The food was the best I had in fortportal. They have continental dishes and really quite upscale (for Fortportal standards). I strongly recommend it. My daughters liked Piza and the complimentary wine????

I ended up here after walking away from a bad situation and I needed a place to get my head together. I initially arrived for one night and ended up staying four! I stayed one night in Kibale, a double room which was lovely and then moved to a suite for 3 nights. The hot water was wonderful, everything was clean, and comfortable. Staff were just lovely! Owner Helen and her husband were really friendly even though busy. Food is amazing. Chocolate Mousse (thank you Helen) was just the best. The ice cream was the best I have had after 20 years in Africa!!! The chef makes mean poached eggs too. Just go, it's perfect, it's a lovely place to be, everything is there a few minutes away, the bank, supermarkets and everything you need. The four season pizza was really good too. Just so many good things to say about this place and nothing negative at all!!!!
