Great place ...a must have in your bucketlist..one should go to enjoy the beautiful sea view which looks like a huge grayish blue playground with the islands admit the nature.its an excellent to thrive especially in summer.
The food is great with excellent service clean rooms cozy amenities. It's such a lovely place that demands a second visit

Best place to relax and enjoy a view from the top of the mountain on the sea and the sunset.
We booked this place on our last day in Mauritius, and I recommend that to relax!

المكان الاطلالة جميلة جداً لكن فيه بعض الملاحظات الي لازم تنتبه لها
الاكل خياراته محدوده ف الافضل يكون معام احتياط القهوة بشكل عام لك عليها
الغرف صح جميلة ومرتبة بس لازم تنتبه لنظافة المفارش
الباقي المكان جميل جداً وللاسترخاء العمييق

Geweldige locatie met 360 graden panorama uitzicht! Beter uitzicht je niet krijgen.
De chalets zijn zeer ruim en prachtig gelegen in de groene bergen van Chamarel.
Kleine maar mooie infinity pool
WiFi is goed
Ontbijtbuffet is prima
Diner vonden we gemiddeld, vergeleken met andere resorts
Bij het Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark

Dit is een locatie met een heel grote wow-factor, en ideaal voor 1 a 2 dagen als afwisseling van/aanvulling op de resorts aan de stranden. Je kunt het mooi combineren met een bezoek aan Chamarel en het Seven Colored Earth Geopark.

This was a phenomenal stay! I actually chose Mauritius because of this hotel.

The views were unbelievable and i just couldn’t get enough of them!

The view is fantastic but everything else is bad ..
Difficult way
No transportation
No food delivery while raining
Too far from the room to the restaurant/reception
Too much mosquitoes
The food is not good especially for Arab

Only the view and nothing else.

الطريق للشالية صعب وخطير
بعوض كثير جداً
لا يوجد مواصلات داخل الفندق
المسافة بعيدة من الغرفة للمطعم والاستقبال
اثناء المطر حتى لو كان خفيف المطعم يرفض يوصل الوجبة للغرفة مع انها مدفوعه
الاكل في المطعم سيء جدا ولا يوجد شيء يناسب العرب

قالولنا مارح تلقون تاكسي هنا و لقينا تاكسي بنص السعر الي عرضوه علينا.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns hier sofort sehr wohl. Der Service war für mich sehr professionell und trotzdem familiär. Sonderwünsche, grad was das Essen angeht, wurden immer erfüllt. Pool ist auch vorhanden.

The view is beautiful but the location is so bad. It is very difficult to reach to chalet and nothing around you. You need to take taxi for 20mins drive to go to any supermarket or pharmacy. The food in the chalet is below average. However, Ms. Vedna who works at the restaurant is so friendly and helpful. I will give her 5 stars

Superb mountaintop chalets, imbedded in nature! We had a great stay for our honeymoon in May, we were treated like king and queen by a very friendly and welcoming staff. Particularly Dany and Vedna from the restaurant and Dalide from reception.
Highly recommend!
(Book only if comfortable around nature and its many creatures and sounds ;)

My wife and I visited Chalets Chamarel recently for three nights. We arrived during a torrential thunderstorm in the dark after travelling for 23 hours from London. We were soaked through and exhausted. On arrival the Chalets Chameral team were just brilliant. A warm welcome from Dalida on reception checking us in and making sure our bags were taken to our room immediately so we could shower and relax. The following morning we woke up to clear skies and a view of what could only be described as a natural paradise. What made it particularly special was the fact that it was also my birthday, something the entire team seemed to be aware of. Our first full day we spent enjoying a fabulous breakfast, getting familiar with our surroundings, enjoying our huge chalet (No.8) and spending time by the pool. The evening was topped by an excellent meal at the restaurant which included a couple of special birthday treats provided by their excellent chef Christine and the Restaurant Manager Dani...who prepared for me probably one of the best coctails I've ever had...thank you Dani!!!
We encountered what could only be described as tremendous first class service throughout our stay which was topped off by Christine cooking us a fabulous seafood salad (completely complementary)as we waited for our taxi to transfer us to our next destination.
Thanks again to Nitin, Christine, Dani, Dalida, Shanesh, Pravesh and the rest of the team for letting us experience this little slice of heaven!! David & Rose xx

Der Ort ist toll keine Frage, der Ausblick herrlich. Wir können uns hier jedoch nicht vorstellen wie max. 3 Tage zu verbringen.

Ein Auto ist Pflicht und die Karte am Abend ist sehr dünn bestückt, es gibt nur 3 verschiedene Gerichte, der Rest kostet ordentliches Extra.

- La vue est magnifique, apres avoir traversée le domaine de chamarel et sa foret, perché en haut de la colline, les chalets et le restaurant dominent, permettant d'avoir une vue dégagée et illimitée sur la mer.
- Les chambres sont décorées avec soin.
- Le restaurant et toute l'équipe de Dany sont adorables.
- La Chef propose une bonne cuisine variée
- Les conseils sur les activités éventuelles ont été aussi appréciés

Amélioration à envisager
- Limiter les surplus tarifaires au restaurant dans la formule demi pension
- Rendre l'eau au restaurant gratuite puisqu'elle est déjà dans les chambres
- mettre à disposition un plan de l'île à l'arrivée

View: amazing and probably the best of the island, but on the other side:
Food is terrible, disgusting, lack of flavour, very few options (main course just 3 options to choose from) and the rest of the options you have to pay a crazy amount extra. Chalet looks beautiful and has a lot of room, but we had to kill at least 10 cockroaches a day. Bed is way too hard, wich was a downside. We also had a talk with some of the guests who claim their valuables were stolen by the staff, even an engagement ring was taken. Last but not least is the service, some who work there are nice and friendly, others just ignore you. Even when you thank them when they take your plate, they just look angry at you. A chalet that is this expensive, it's just not the quality that you expect, especially the food. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy...

If you’re going to celebrate your anniversary or honeymoon at this hotel DON’T.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to celebrate our anniversary which we mentioned on the booking but they didn’t really care because nothing was done or offered from their part, the only good thing about the hotel is its view and the room decor. There isn’t much to do there, since the hotel is on the mountains and the hotel doesn’t have any fun things to do, most places/activities in Mauritius close around 6pm so you would be stuck at the hotel with nothing to do until the next day. There are no spas or any other amenities at this hotel. As for the cleanliness of the room I wouldn’t call it clean at all because the day of our check out I found a dead lizard behind the curtains and it looked like its been dead for over a week before we even stayed at this hotel and when I mentioned it to one of the receptionists she didn’t even apologize for that.

The staff at the restaurant are either ignorant or pretending to be, my husband ordered well done boiled eggs for breakfast and they were clearly runny, so the waiter came and when my husband asked him, “is this well done?”He says “yes” and leaves. The service in the restaurant is poor as well as the breakfast options and taste. Breakfast and dinner is extremely bland and not edible. The only reason why you would eat is because you dont want to starve. The waiters give you a vibe that they’re just waiting for you to finish your food and leave the restaurant so that they can close.

2 étoiles uniquement pour le lieu : Un lieu magnifique et exceptionnel. Avons passé il y a 1 an quelques jours dans l’un de leur chalet de luxe. Le service m’avait déjà déçu. En raison de l’emplacement exceptionnel nous avons voulu réitérer l’expérience en emmenant des amis déjeuner. Nous étions 2 tables (nous : 10 personnes, et une table de 2). La serveuse n’a pas décroché un sourire, désagréable voire méprisable ! Pourtant elle n’était pas débordée !!! C’est inacceptable et tellement rare à Maurice que ça doit être mentionné. Heureusement une autre petite serveuse était elle beaucoup souriante. Surtout ne mettez pas un pied dans l’eau de leur piscine sous peine d’être facturé 500rs !!! Ça fait cher la minute !!! Extrêmement déçus nous n’y retournerons plus !

المكان جميل ومرتب ونفس اللي فالصوره
لكن إذا ماعندك سيارة خاصه فيك نصيحة لاتجي هنا
المطعم طبعا هنا الحمدلله على كل حال (لسد الجوع فقط)
اليوم الغداء فجاءه قالوا مسوين بس نقت دجاج
طلبت تاكسي دفعت 250 ريال عشان اروح وارجع اجيب اكل
بشكل عام كل موريشيوس مطاعهم منه العوض وعليه العوض
