Bad structure where to sleep in Dakar !!! Let's start with cleanliness: the rooms are not cleaned regularly. We had slept in this structure 10 days before arriving in Senegal and we returned for the last night before leaving again. We found a handkerchief on the floor that I had dropped and sand on the floor just as the room had been left. Also the sheets were dirty and in addition there was hair from other guests, who apparently had slept after us, in that bed. Also on the bed I noticed insects that are found in the feathers of birds or poultry. Faced with the evidence of the dirty floor and the request to change the sheets, we had to insist on the change of sheets, which was done, but the floor was not cleaned. Sufficient breakfast, but an extra cup of tea is charged extra. The structure is not centrally located and also there are animals that wander around inside and are not cleaned regularly. In front of the main entrance to the facility there is a terrible smell of poultry droppings. The staff are rude and surly . A vegetarian dish based on two slices of melon, a couple of raw vegetables and rice cost 25 euros! To be avoided absolutely!

Scortesi, maleducati e furbi

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti in questa struttura e hanno cercato di fregarci in tutti i modi. Ma la cosa gravissima è che abbiamo dormito prima 2 notti, dopo 10 giorni siamo tornati per un’altra notte e abbiamo trovato le camere come le avevamo lasciate: usate, sporche, con i letti rifatti ma con la stessa biancheria usata, tutto sporco, cappelli ovunque (secondo noi anche non nostri), con spazzatura vecchia ecc… ma il prezzo era esattamente lo stesso, piuttosto caro per Dakar. Tra l’altro avevamo scordato delle maglie in camera, quelle son sparite, ma le camere non le hanno pulite!
Le tazze della colazione sempre sporche, le porte delle camere rumorosissime, bagni microscopici e casino in strada. Abbiamo deciso di cenare dentro una delle sere e la cena (per una coscia di pollo a testa e del riso) ci è costata la bellezza di 28€, una follia; segnalo inoltre che alcuni mestoli portavano ancora etichetta e prezzo, quindi nn son stati lavati. Personale scortese, maleducato, mi hanno accusata di dovergli rendere dei soldi di un cambio valuta fatto da loro (dopo 10 giorni), cosa non vera, abbiamo ordinato dei tè caldi e ce li hanno fatti pagare 3€ l’uno dopo tutti i soldi che gli abbiamo lasciato. Inoltre per utilizzare una delle 6 camere come appoggio (avevamo il volo la notte) mi ha sparato 150€! Professionalità e cortesia pari a 0.
A 100 mt abbiano trovato un ristorante di pesce favoloso, si spende meno e si mangia da Dio, ha anche delle bellissime camere. Ve lo consiglio

Not the best place to stay. The rooms feel humid. They keep birds in cages under bad conditions (not cleaning their poo…). The birds make noise all the time and I felt so bad for them. Please stop locking up animals!!! They are living beings just like you and me. The owner is a bit of a weird lady.

Estuve en Oct. 22. La situación es a pie de playa, y por la mañana y por la noche entra directamente la brisa del mar, así que refresca las estancias y permite descansar. Luego, es un ambiente muy familiar al ser tan pequeño, un ejemplo que se puede desayunar casi a cualquier hora. A diferencia de la Isla de Engor (que se ve desde el hotel), este hotel esta rodeado por casas de la población local, lo que permite salir fuera los típicos complejos hoteleros y mezclarte un poco con la realidad del lugar. A pocos metros del hotel hay varios restaurantes también. Desde el hotel se sale a la playa donde se puede pagar unos 3 euros para que un bote te lleve y recoja del pico Engor right si te gusta el surf, o salir a pescar..etc
