El Lago 1 es el restaurante, y la Laguna 2, el hotel, magnífico y con encanto. Las habitaciones son más originales y exóticas que las estándar del Sofitel. Orientado decididamente a una clientela de turismo fácil, más que a los viajes de negocios.
Apreciamos las habitaciones similares a las cabinas de un paquebote que dan directamente al mar. Las de la planta baja permiten incluso tener casi los pies en el agua: los amantes de la pesca podrán disfrutar de su pasatiempo desde su balcón. El lago ofrece una terraza sobre pilotes y una playa privada reservada exclusivamente a los clientes del hotel.

Kmg where do I START!!! For starters I called 3dys in advance to let them know my plane would be late. They assured me the suite on the top floor would still be available. I got there and of course my phone died from traveling. They put me in some RANDOM room in the basement. The floor smelled like mildew and cigarettes. It smelled spoiled and like it had recently flooded there
Since it was late I couldn't get a charger fir my phone because AMERICANS NEED A CERTAIN TYPE OF PLUG ADAPTER over there. I finally charge my phone the next day and see IM JN THE WRONG ROOM. I go tell the BIG 6FT woMAN at the front desk and she or any of the workers SPEAK ANY ENGLISH yet they advertise for Americans to come visit!! They literally shooed
me off and told me GO TO YOUR ROOM ASIF I WAS 6. Long story short.... I did not get the TOP FLOOR SUITE I booked MONTHS IN ADVANCE and saved up for. NONE of the management tried to compensate or help. They brought a fruit basket and didn't say anything THATS IT.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMERICANS GO TO THIS HOTEL. The area was REALLY SKETCHY I SWEAR I thought my husband and I was going to get robbed

Stay here whenever am in Dakar great staff, fantastic food both in the Hotel and its sister Restaurant and the location is to die for
just walking distance to Major businesses, Embassies Banks and the ports
