I am deeply disappointed with my experience at this hotel and feel compelled to write a negative review.
When making a reservation, the hotel insisted on booking a double room for us, claiming that our 6-month-old daughter needed her own space. Obviously, our baby cannot sleep alone at such a young age. When I pointed this out to the hotel, they responded that they wanted to give us the most expensive room because they were concerned about the baby disturbing other guests in the other building.
I find this attitude to be highly unsympathetic and lacking empathy. Additionally, the rooms they proposed were not advertised as "adult only" on any search websites or their own website. I regret not being able to stay there, but it is better to know these things in advance and be able to book elsewhere.
I am truly ashamed that Relais & Chateaux includes a hotel with such an attitude. We usually stay at Bonvoy hotels where we are platinum members and have never encountered anything like this. In fact, we have always been treated kindly and accommodated for bringing our daughter, who is a calm and quiet child.

Nous avons mangé au bleu margouillat pour un petit dîner romantique au bord de la piscine accueil et services impeccable la cuisine inventive et excellente .Le chef et sa brigade allie produit de la réunion et d’ailleurs avec talent .

La chambre est belle mais petite, peu d’intimité lorsqu’on est au rez de chaussée. De plus un des travailleurs à même ouvert la porte de notre chambre sans cogner pendant qu’on y été!
Le service du restaurant pitoyable. C’est le mot. On arrive à 19h nous sommes les premiers et on fini à 23h les derniers, on constate un retard des le début lors de la commande des boissons au moins 30 voir 40 min de retard! Deux simples mocktails (les autres clients qui ont commandés de l’alcool étaient étrangement promptement servis).
Une serveuse nous a fait la remarque qu’on utilisait mal nos couverts je la cite « Oh on va changer les couverts car ça là part en n’importe quoi là »
Désolé mais dans le cadre de votre travail cela n’est pas acceptable de faire ce genre de remarque.
On a bien remarquer votre favoritisme en ce qui concerne votre service pour les clients touristiques et « exogène » et non pas nous réunionnais !
On ne remettra plus les pieds dans votre établissement.
