4 years after the first time and it’s year again a full 5 star restaurant ???? coming back as soon as possible. Service 5 ⭐️ food 5 ⭐️ atmosphere 5 ⭐️

Une excellente cuisine faite maison. Les portions sont généreuses. Le filet mignon est une merveille ! Le gratin dauphinois fondant à souhait...quant au dessert, le cheese cake, c'est un nuage délicieux !

J'aime bien la couche asiatique au travers des plats. Super qualité-prix. Service rapide et efficace. Petit fil-attend mais avance assez rapidement. Je recommande vivement !

Une des meilleurs cantines du midi à Nice. C’est généreux. Les sauces et le gratin dauphinois du chef est à tomber. L’ardoise tourne quasiment tout les midi. Vous pouvez y allez les yeux fermés.

J'ai découvert ce restaurant avec ma maman à midi et c'est une vraie perle. Le chef est un bijou, le staff qui vous assiste à table est très gentil (très calmes). On a été surprises par la générosité des portions, donc oui, on en a pour son argent. Les ingrédients sont très très frais, d'ailleurs la carte est petite, signe que tout est préparé sur place et que rien n'est surgelé (et croyez-moi cela se sent au palais). La cuisine est délicieuse, très "maison" et savoureuse. J'ai adoré. La salle est petite et très agréable car il y a peu de tables, donc on conserve son intimité malgré la taille du lieu. C'est très convivial. C'est vraiment un lieu idéal pour déjeuner à Nice tout en profitant de l'ambiance du quartier. On reviendra, on a adoré.

We mentioned when booking that we are vegan and Fred, the chef, put together a delicious lunchtime meal...so tasty. Front of house were charming and welcoming. Every customer smiled broadly when their food arrived as it was presented beautifully and the portions are extremely generous. We will 100% be returning here in our next trip to Nice.

The staff was very kind and read the full menu in English for my finance. The fresh lemonade, coffee and all the dishes were outstanding. Can’t go wrong here ❤️

This was the best meal we had during our stay in Nice. We stumbled in for a quick, simple lunch and were blown away. Perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a charming atmosphere. The waiter helped us pick our meals as we were struggling a bit with our sub-par french skills. He recommended the spiced beef with hummus and the thai spicy beef, both of which were so incredible my partner and I spent the meal switching off plates without complaint (usually we end up fighting for the plate of whoever ordered best). so incredible in fact that I’m writing this review months after the meal after drooling over the pictures we took. If we’re ever back in Nice, we WILL be back here!

Such a remarkable French gastronomy experience. Food served with the freshest ingredients and hosted with the warmest service. Everything in this restaurant feels very genuine, and simply one of the best meals I have had around the world.

Sur les conseils d'une collègue de travail, nous sommes allés au Bocal et n'avons pas regrettés. Petit resto convivial et pas facile à trouver, il vaut pourtant le détour de par l'authenticité de ses plats généreux et gourmands. La carte change régulièrement mais nous n'avons jamais été déçus. L'accueil est simple, sympathique et efficace.
