Hotel con encanto cuyas habitaciones tienen su propio estilo de decoración destacando la madera

Este hotel se resbaló en las paredes de un edificio construido en el siglo XVII. Es un establecimiento clásico, lleno de encanto y los testigos del pasado están siempre presentes aquí, a pesar de las renovaciones. Se han imaginado estilos de decoración para las habitaciones, en una paleta de colores cálidos y de tonos naturales poniendo la madera en valor, se puede incluso ofrecer una cama con baldaquino… Las dobles cortinas están todas acompañadas por encima de las camas, la madera se pone de relieve por tonos naturales. Las habitaciones de las plantas más altas son más claras, mientras que algunas dan al patio más sombrías. El vestíbulo de entrada y la sala del desayuno, muy luminosa, están cubiertos de madera de roble claro.

This hotel was exactly as described, we celebrated the week of New Years 2024 there…the staff were all very helpful and friendly…location could not have been better, everything we needed was close by…Thank you for a memorable stay in your beautiful city…Gary and Irene Hellman USA

When we arrived, we were given a room that was not cleaned at all from the previous guest. The room we were given for one night was much smaller, the sheet was torn, and the TV didn’t work. We were comped one breakfast for this mishap. On our first night, the outside door wouldn’t open and there were no employees present. A guest eventually found a button that opened the door. This happened again another night. We were given the correct room the following day and things seemed good until we realized the refrigerator wasn’t actually on - it was not plugged in and the food we bought the previous day for a picnic had spoiled. When brought to the front desk’s attention, the guy couldn’t care less and since we had four nights left, we didn’t want any tension. I filled out an online survey that day from the hotel asking for first impressions, and they were obviously bad. The next time I walked by the front desk, they stopped me and asked ‘Why did you say you were not happy?’, and I’m not sure if it was a language/cultural difference, but the guy seemed pissed and it made me uncomfortable. Speaking of piss… after a night in the new room, a strong urine odor became noticeable from the bathroom(it wasn’t us)- we kept the bathroom door closed the rest of the stay. From them on, we had a system for how to deal with our grievances and things were going as smooth as they could until our last night. The power went off to the rooms for an hour from around 9-10pm. There was only one person at the front desk and he was absolutely frantic. I honestly felt bad for him… anyways, I’ve never had such a bad experience at a hotel. Between the rooms and service, I’ve stayed at 2 star hotels that put this place to shame. On paper, it has a ton of amenities, but it’s all a facade. I honestly feel like I was duped. I can’t believe this place has such good reviews - there’s no way we’re talking about the same hotel. Any of my feedback to the front desk and management fell completely on deaf ears. At least they comped me a free breakfast. LOL.

Edit: Changed to 1 star after their bogus response. Front desk staff literally wasn’t there - how is that ‘feeling’ they weren’t responsive? Here’s a photo of the dirty room they first put us in, and ripped sheets in the second. Shame on this dump of a hotel for gaslighting me.

Es un hotel que no está mal. La habitación está bien aunque la limpieza podría mejorar. Eso sí, está muy bien ubicado. Estás en el centro y lo tienes todo cerca. A 10 minutos del Louvre, Sainte Chapelle y Conciergerie, Notre Dame, fuente Saint Michelleetc. Está muy bien comunicado
