Hotel cerca del Procope popular por su encanto antiguo, sus habitaciones con pinturas de Jouy y su suite con vistas a los tejados.
El hotel está situado justo al lado del Procope, un lugar mítico de la capital, frente a la antigua casa de Molière. Estos dos vecinos le han conservado un encanto antiguo que nos penetra en cuanto entramos en el lugar: madera en las paredes, mobiliario Luis XIII, tapices de Aubusson. Los amantes del diseño y de las líneas depuradas sólo podrán huir. En cambio, este lado de la costa atrae especialmente a los extranjeros. Las habitaciones siguen el mismo estilo y están decoradas con cuadros de Jouy, sedas rojas o rosas y muebles antiguos. Las habitaciones cuyo número termina por 6 son las más grandes y todas están renovadas en tonos más claros. La suite bajo los tejados tiene unas bonitas vistas de los tejados. Los cuartos de baño están revestidos de mármol.

The acid test was, on the day we left a number of Metro stations were closed in the area due to a protest march- it was still only an 8 minute walk to the alternative one!
We had a standard twin which was a little small but perfectly fine for us. The room was very cosy and warm and the beds were comfy. The bathroom looked to be quite recently refurbished with a bath and there was a kettle too for tea and coffee. The TV had lots of channels (a variety of English ones too such as BBC2/More 4/Channel 4) as well!
The highlight was the breakfast which is only 5 euros if you book direct per person/ per day and is a good spread of cold cuts, cereal, juices, and tea/coffee.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!
