I would rate higher but the wifi was a problem most of the time. Often slow & cut out. For info the room was always cleaned impeccably but I felt that ‘removing soap used once & towels is not the best approach from an eco perspective. I think customers should hv the ‘option’ to retain or hv removed. A great stay, lovely staff & a beautiful hotel.
I had a very enjoyable stay in Paris and was pleased to stay at Hotel Jeu de Paume again (after many years -- 15?). I was in a small room, which was fine as I was traveling alone. However, the air conditioning unit's fan didn't consistently run. I had to open the window for cool air. And the bed was comfortable, but would have been more so with an extra sheet on the bed under the duvet. Since I was warm in the room, another layer of bedding would have been better for me. The staff is wonderful and the ambiance and location of the hotel is perfect!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The only problem with the apartment was the noise on the street was very loud especially people standing outside the restaurant. But the bedrooms on the back were quieter. Even though the rooms weren’t cleaned it would have been nice to have the bibs emptied and kitchen cleaned.
This was at least our third stay here. In fact, we wouldn't think of staying any place else when in Paris.! The front desk staff was always cordial and helpful. We love Ile St Louis and it's proximity to the rest of the city so the location is perfect. We look forward to our next stay.
A wonderful, charming boutique hotel. This was our first trip to Paris, and the hotel and particularly its staff contributed to a most memorable experience. We highly recommend this excellent value hotel.
Breakfast was a bit basic, my husband was looking forward to a good cup of coffee to start the day and for 18 euros i would have expected a bit more than flask coffee.
Lovely but, housekeeping, replenishment of water bottle, not done, there was rubbish and dirty towel from previous client when we arrived in the room, fire in reception was turned off ver early making it less cosy and welcoming
Everything was perfect. Beautiful boutique hotel, very well and quietly situated. We had a cozy, but sufficiently large room on the second floor. The bed was very comfortable, it is charmingly furnished and very clean. The bathroom was fully equipped including bathrobes and slippers. There was even bath salt for the bathtub. And, you can have breakfast until 12 noon - great. We had breakfast included in the price. There were very good croissants, very good filter coffee, fruit, juices etc... For people who expect a big buffet it might be a bit easy. But it was enough for us. The staff is very friendly and pleasant.
The only thing that could be noticed as conspicuous is that the rooms are apparently quite close to each other. As a result, sometimes you hear noises from your neighbors that you didn't want to hear.
We'd love to come back.
We had such a lovely stay. Everything was just lovely. Our favorite aspect of the hotel was the wonderful Monsieur Lemon! He made us feel right at home as we very much missed our dogs while we were traveling.
The shower above the bath was a concern to me as I am an older woman with a knee problem. The Taps were also difficult to access around the shower screen. The staff made this hotel for me. They were very helpful. They even tolerated me speaking French and replying to me in French. Elsewhere in Paris everyone wants to speak English. Definitely rate the staff highly
Very nice hotel in a great neighborhood. The personal was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit juices and wonderful bread. The room was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was of a good size and very clean. One may want to add a handle on the wall for support when getting out of the bathing tub. we would definitively stay at this hotel again when we return to Paris.
I loved staying at the hotel. I wish I could have gotten coffee at the hotel for less than 4 euro. The location is very good, and the staff were excellent! Also, I enjoyed seeing Lemon in the hotel.
L’île Saint Louis est pleine de charme.
L’accueil est chaleureux.
Les chambres sont très agréables et calmes

Definitely worth a stay
