Lousy parking system - Lousy opening hours of the Tourist Information
We were looking forward to visiting Lerici on 25.May.2016. Having read comments on the parking situation in Lerici, we parked in the satellite parking and waited for the "Girobus" to come. Well, it never did. A city employee who happened to pass by told us that the next bus was at 16:00. We had missed the 12:15 bus by 2 minutes and the next one was 4 hours later!!! And it was too far away from the center to walk. How could we know this when there are no tourist information on the satellite parking system in ENGLISH??? We had just paid 7€ worth of parking so that we would have time to have lunch quietly and visit the city. The lady (employee M903) told us to go to the Tourist Information and try to get permission to park somewhere else in town with the ticket we had already paid. But guess what ... the tourist information offices were also closed until 16:00. Disgusted, we left the city without spending anymore than the 7€ stolen from us and we've been telling everyone we meet to stay away from your city.
Since many of the tourists visiting your region are not from Italy, I strongly recommend that instructions be written in English, a language that is understood by most tourists around the world. This would avoid a situation like ours and would ensure that people spend the money in the restaurants and stores instead of only on your parcometers.

Je n y retournerai plus jamais tant que cette façon d'agir sera maintenue et déconseille l'endroit aux visiteurs en voiture. J'aurais apprécié - et respecté- une signalisation avec des recommandations claires, et bien en vue.
