Porque Miami es más que South Beach, alojarse en el barrio cubano es una gran idea En el interior de esta imponente mansión rosa de los años 20 dominan los materiales naturales y los tonos ocres; las estanterías están repletas de objetos que parecen traídos de lugares lejanos. Este ambiente se encuentra en las 33 habitaciones y alcanza su punto álgido en la azotea verde con su increíble vista del centro de la ciudad. A primera hora de la mañana, es posible que escuche el canto de un gallo. El auto check-in / check-out está bien pensado y la Calle Ocho está a sólo 10 minutos a pie.

Stayed in during monday-tuesday, and they said rooftop is not working after my check-in. Nowhere on web says it’s not working on Monday. Service is great, price at 145$/night a little bit hefty, but ok. Little havana is nice neighbourhood, and hotel is close to Brickell, that’s great. No shops, markets, restaurants or bars in close proximity of the hotel. Those few flaws resulted in 4 star review. I stayed there during September 2023. Photos are from that time period

I missed my connection flight so I was looking for a last minute hotel for the night.
I can say that I am highly satisfied with my short stay over there and definitely will come back next time I’m in Miami .
Room was clean staff was pleasant professional and helpful and they have a very nice rooftop bar.
Nice boutique hotel !
Highly recommend!

What a little gem. Everything is placed on purpose and although it looks old fashioned you find the latest tech surrounding.

This is Hemingwayesque. When you enter this hotel, you smell the most enchanting aroma. Sergio is most attentive and helpful. You are minutes from Little Havana and can walk to dine, dance, drink café Cubano, my drink of choice. This is the place to stay. Clean. Safe. No frufru or frills. Wash cloths only upon request. Only for serious travelers who venture out of four walls and don't require useless amenities.

So good to fall into this bed after leaving a local emergency room on 3April after 3 a.m. Softest and most enveloping bed.

The staff at the Life House was terrific, very knowledgeable and helpful, the room was pleasant and clean, and the Terras restaurant had great views and a reasonable menu (note that it's closed Mondays).
Great location for exploring Calle Ocho on foot.
Easy 25 min walk to the Brickell Metrorail so very simple to get to Miami Airport.
