En el iglú podrá contemplar las estrellas desde la comodidad de su cama y, con un poco de suerte, incluso podrá vislumbrar la aurora boreal en temporada. Cada iglú está equipado con cocina, baño y sauna privada. Estos se hallan a unos cinco kilómetros del parque natural. Las villas de vacaciones están frente al parque y disponen de todo lo necesario.

A decent zoo with a nice selection of animals unique to the arctic region. Some animals were not there to be seen due to the winter season. The polar bear was definitely the highlight.

really disappointing we didn't see any of the big animals, lots of empty spaces. expensive for what they offer

A very well maintained zoo that is home to many cute and adorable animals. The path is one-way and is well marked out, making it very systematic and allowing you to visit all the animals without being lost. Conditions of the zoo were very good and the animals seem comfortable. There’s a wide variety of animals ranging from birds to reindeers and bears.
If going during the winter, some animals may be hibernating or hiding from the cold, so may be difficult to spot. Otherwise, it is quite an enjoyable experience going to a zoo in the winter.
If you are lucky or you go on the correct days, there are feeding time for some animals such as polar bears. Best to check the zoo website for information. Alternatively, can go around lunchtime when the zookeepers bring food to the animals to see them eat their food too.
